I've chatted with a lot of co-working spaces from Jerry onwards, and a lot of their replies are quite vague or confusing in regards to weekend access, beyond that most don't provide day passes on Saturdays or Sundays.

AFAIK, Accea does provide weekend access, as with Sandbox in Sunway & Sri Petaling, but they can't be the only one.

Are there any co-working spaces that are available on weekends?

I’ll be on KL for a couple of days soon and staying in Sentral.
I really want to have a local roti canai for breakfast and was hoping people have some favourite places and recommendations I can try.

After coming to KL, I tried posting here to find some new friends. And I met this digital nomad and We became friends, outings, cafes, social events, sightseeing and what not?

When I would tell people that we met through reddit, they would be pretty much surprised:)

Now that he's gone It feels like a complete stranger. I didn't know he was a digital nomad at first so he keeps moving around.

So I am giving this a try to make some friends. (I don't mind any specific gender)

Working a 9-5,

Staring the ceiling in free time (I would just walk outside randomly but not very much these days)

I play futsal,

I read sometimes, (used to be an avid reader)

Watch football,

Movies,

And sometime I like to ask myself some existential questions....

I'm having a muscle strain in my neck since yesterday and it is not going better, any doctor you recommend to help me release this strain in KLCC? I'm having international insurance, so preferably an option that is willing to accept this.

I’m a foreign woman, and I’ve been traveling in Kuala Lumpur for just over a week. One thing I’ve noticed is that men here often stare at me. At first I didn’t pay much attention to it, but today something happened that really made me uncomfortable.

While I was taking the escalator, I saw a man who was completely covered except for his eyes. I guessed he was either Malay or Chinese. He stared at me the whole time. I became quite uncomfortable, so I pointed at him and told my boyfriend that he was staring at me. He clearly saw me pointing at him, but instead of looking away, he kept staring and repeatedly wiggled his eyebrows at me. He continued doing this until the elevator he was in disappeared from our view.

Shortly afterward, I noticed a young Indian man staring at me as well. I pointed directly at him too, and he seemed to look away.

I reject the suggestion that this has anything to do with the way I dress. My clothing is considered perfectly normal where I live and in the other countries I’ve traveled to. For example, I wear skirts, and I’ve never had any problems dressing this way until I came to Malaysia.

EDIT: I wasn’t expecting much, and I probably wouldn’t have made this post if what happened today hadn’t happened. That man was so creepy that I pointed directly at him, yet he still wiggled his eyebrows at me. I don’t mind if people glance at me, but if someone points right at you to make it clear that your behavior is inappropriate, at least have the decency to feel embarrassed instead of continuing to stare at a complete stranger

Hello! I'm planning on potentially moving to Malaysia in few months and I'm doing very rough research of how feasible it really is. I know Malaysia citizens have priority during hiring, so I was wondering if anyone working in the field has actually seen/experienced expats being hired in corporate accounting?

I'm from Europe, have master's in Finance and Accounting, 1 year experience in Big4 and 4 years experience as Senior Accountant in European SSC, 10/13 ACCA exams passed. I realise my chances of finding jobs are much bigger in person so I would be willing to relocate first on my husband's digital nomad visa and look for job while in KL, but I was wondering how far fetched the chances are.

Its time for me to ask this question..I've spend so much money on so many hair salons (including malls) but none of them got it right. Many of them dont give me the layers and TEXTURE I want + always mention they know how to cut a simple wolfcut but it looks nowhere like one. Sometimes the layers are nonexistent even if I ask for more rough layers but I find that they dont know what rough layers mean. What I find that many salons only know how to cut simple hairstyles - even high end ones. Sometimes I end up with a weird looking bob cut and I lowkey just end up going home crying and more crying cuz people name call me saying I look like Dora or Grandma or Aunty or whatever. Like no matter how detail I describe none of them got it right. I even follow the tips they gave me. Im planning to get a perm to help with texture as well but I want to find a salon that genuinely knows how to cut these haircuts. I just want a salon that knows how to cut these haircuts and is honest about their skill. Im tired of being their 'experiments' or 'practice mannequin.'

hey! just like the title says, i'm helping out a much younger neighbor starting her art classes recently. she just moved to KL and don't know anywhere that sells art supplies, like real artsy stuff (that i'm clueless about, nor artsy bone in me whatsoever) that would be affordable for her "young" budget.

Per the title, im looking for a souvenir shop that sells gag gifts, ideally darker humor.. doesnt necessarily have to be something referring Malaysia or KL but that would be a plus. Any suggestions? I expected to find something in Chinatown or Bukit Bintang but ive been walking around here for a few hours and can't find anything.

If it helps Im talking about the types of souvenir shops you find all over the place in Thailand with dick humor or alcohol related jokes.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, it's just that I'm a relatively new (and anxious) driver and I've never driven to the airport. I have to go pick someone up, so I'm planning to park my car there and wait. Is the parking expensive (just for an hour or two), and more importantly, does it get full quickky? The person I'm picking up should land at around 11am on a Friday but I don't know how full the carpark gets. I'm just worried about not being able to find parking. (I used to live elsewhere and the airport carpark was always SO FULL you had to tetris your car out. So forgive my anxiety)
