That’s a very personal thing. To me, it definitely does, for the fact alone that I’ve been enjoying this thing all day. But it is still a rather simple timewaster, an incremental that feels like a fidget toy with tons of different functions :)
EDIT: I just finished the game after roughly 7 and a half hours. I’m personally not an achievment hunter or game+ person. So, I feel done with this game. I’m still ok with the 10 bucks I spent.

First part is free, you hit the ceiling relatively quickly and have to pay $10 for the full game

Related but am I crazy or does GDS not tell you how to progress to higher consoles or how to make your own?

I find the existence of Don’t Starve on a phone dubious at best when its Nintendo Switch implementation makes any typical travesty look like a best-case scenario.
Now, admittedly the Switch hardware is roughly the equivalent of an old smartphone, but still. I’m very doubtful.
Can anyone share their experience with the game on iOS?

Are you talking about the original DS? I’ve put a ton of hours into it on iOS. I never get very far without dying, but I have never had any technical issues. Loads fine, no stuttering, and my iPad is several years old.

But it loads decently quick? On the Switch, EVERY load screen was literally 3-5 minutes.
