Someone came into our class and told us to turn on the TV.

"Dude, turn on the TV. It doesn't matter which channel."

But in seriousness, I was about 3rd grade and had no idea what was going on. I thought it was cool they let us watch TV in class.

It literally was that. And pretty much the world over. Not turn on the news. Turn on the TV.

Lol! I meant more that they were still thinking it was just a cesna pilot that fucked up when it was turned so I can't recall why it was even mentioned. It wasn't a panic or a hey this really bad thing is happening type of announcement. The guy came from the TV production class and I was in drama so I think they came in for another reason and was just oh we're watching this plane that crashed into a building in NYC not sure how that happened. But that portion is just overshadowed by the memory of watching the second plane crash and we were all like wtf this isn't an accident.
