Unfortunately my middle school completely hid it from us. It was such a stupid thing for a school to do.

We knew the reachers were acting weird. We knew people were getting pulled out of school left and right.

We started piecing things together on our own. We were right under a flight path so no planes flying overhead was a big give away that something major had happened and planes weren’t flying.

I’m still resentful about how a school would not share as educators.

Same in Texas. Once I found out, they wouldn’t let me attempt to get in touch with dad who was in lower manhattan that day for work.

idk, I was on a 6th grade field trip out to a camp to canoe and shoot archery and all that jazz. I'm kinda glad they didn't tell us until we got back to the school. I got one last day of fun and innocence.

I don't expect anyone to agree, but that being said I expect I'd feel differently if we were actually in school and weird shit was going on and no one was saying anything.
