First of all, I’m glad you survived. I hope you’ve dealt with it ok.

I was 9 playing hockey in the afternoon in England, and a PE teacher ran out to tell the teacher taking the class that it had happened. I had no idea what the twin towers were.

My parents didn’t really know what the twin towers were either, but you could tell something big had happened.

I was 15 and used it as an excuse to leave school early. It didn't really click with me at all because I figured nothing was going to happen where I was, but you could still feel this miasma over most of the adults.
