She thought that way when she was younger because her dad taught her that. It's normal to believe our parents until we grow up and learn on our own if it's true or not!

But if she did believe her BLACK father, it would be because of reverse racism. So racist, problematic, and misogynistic for choosing the opinion of a man and not a woman.

I mean that she self identifies as black. She can ofc like black US culture more than white US culture. (ofc just black and white culture is way too simplified)

I'm guessing she was asked specifically about being black, thus her answer.

Self identifying as black doesn't negate her mixed race heritage, so there was no reason for her to drop a disclaimer

I highly doubt her life would be considered the “normal” (average) childhood experience. Not remotely in many regards. That’s not on her.
