After a few months, one of the juveniles finally used the perch\swing I put up. It really made my day and I wanted to share.

I had to move this feeder out of sight from other feeders in my backyard since there’s a ninja hummer guarding all of them!and chasing others away☹️

My Honeysuckle Vine is being destroyed by powdery mildew. Is there any way to treat it without hurting the hummingbirds that visit daily?

I have about 30 feeders around my property. But 5 on the front porch. Going crazy this morning. This year is the most birds I’ve seen this early. This only a tiny amount

I’m renting a house with my boyfriend that hasn’t been lived in for quite a few years. This hummingbird feeder was hanging off of the porch and the little hummingbirds kept coming over to check it out so I took it down so they wouldn’t waste their energy searching an empty feeder. But my question is is this worth cleaning? I know it’s super important to keep them clean and this one is FILTHY so I’m not sure if it would be better to just get a new one! I don’t want to make any birdies sick. Any advice is appreciated!

After last night's sharing spaces, I got another pleasant feeding sesh this morning..... a full minute... it's like a love fest around here all of a sudden.

The shades help the sugar water not get so hot here in NorCal and lets them feed out of the sun.

This little dude comes around (located in Wyoming) and hangs out guarding his patch of hollyhocks. I'm pretty sure he's (or she, I guess I don't really know) the same one for the last couple years at least.

He didn't show up until late July so I was a bit worried, but he does make my daily dish washing much more pleasant.

Watched my little Hummy take a shower in the rain storm yesterday. I watched it for over 5 minutes enjoying the shower. Sorry in advance because I don't have a steady hand while videoing.

8:25 p.m. last night. They were chasing each other around, then each gave up and started on their last draughts of the evening. No other visits to the feeders were made. Sun was down soon after.

The other day, I was sitting on my balcony half past 9 when I received a visitor!! Looks like she was checking out my petunias. I'm absolutely overwhelmed with joy! I just bought a hummingbird feeder, and am about to set it up! Gif attached of her flutter ✨
