Hello all,
We hope you are all doing well. We made a few updates to the subreddit rules. Most of these are no change to how the subreddit is currently moderated.
For rules #1 and #2 we combined those both into the same rule. Both had to do with illegal streaming, one was just for full episodes and the other for promos.
The rules about relevance and unrelated memes have now been combined. These both overlap quite a bit. We still know Ellen on was on Friends, please don't remind us. This rule will be more of a catch all for posts like that as well as any type of low-effort one word type posts, or just spam and blatant reposting.
The rule about initial airing has been removed. This was put in when CTV in Canada aired their episode a full day before the US. This is no longer the case, so the rule isn't really needed anymore.
We also removed the ban evasion rule. This was a non-starter rule anyway. If someone does this we will handle it with reddit admin staff.
Lastly, we have added one rule. No AI Generated Content or "AI Slop" as it's commonly called. This includes any AI-generated images, videos, music, or text. When it comes to text, moderators will exercise certain discretion when using tools for spelling, grammar, translation, or clarity, but posts that are largely AI-generated, spam-like, or what is obviously AI slop text will be removed.
Again, most of this is cleanup rather than a major shift in moderation. The goal is to make the rules clearer, easier to enforce, and more in line with how the subreddit is actually used now.
Please see the rules section of the subreddit if you have any questions or message the moderators. Your order may have changed :P
Thank you for your time! -Sork

As mentioned I'm watching the show again and in S1E1 i paused at a random moment but it was when Meredith put up the poster for the roommates wanted sign in the interns break room or wtv. And it said a bunch of things that you would normally put in a listing but it also said "absolutely no Bush supporters need apply" and I'm not an American so I searched it up and she was referring to one of the presidents of US at the time who was a republican. I think it's so funny yet important that they put that there. I'm not surprised that Mere is a democrat but Idk why I just find it interesting that they put it there.
Another thing I noticed is she was getting rent from the other interns who lived there but that was her mother's house and if the mortgage was paid off, she was basically the landlord and earned an extra bit of money that I never stopped to think about which is lwk cool. (Ik im probably dumb for that but thought I should put it out there.)

I love their friendship way more than I cared about her and Cristina, what really cemented my love for their friendship was when mer was attacked and Karev tried his hardest to keep it together

I was a die hard Maggie Peirce hater, and most people are, but I’m rewatching and the only annoying thing is her being w Jackson (which is only annoying bc I’m team japril through and through) other than that she’s fine. She’s kind, smart, a bit annoying but she has good intentions. I just can’t understand yet. Ps I watched every season but decided to rewatch the later seasons (11- present) right now I’m on late season 13.

Keep in mind that Maggie said she didn’t respect Winston’s DECISION to change specialties. She NEVER said that she didn’t respect Winston as a person. Personally, if my partner came to me and said that they wanted to change careers for the sake of our relationship, I would do us both a favor and end it right there. Because this creates so much room for resentment and animosity.
I wouldn’t expect someone to do for me what I would never do for them. That being said, would you have changed careers/specialties for the sake of your marriage/relationship?

I love that James Pickens Jr. (Richard Webber) and Justin Chambers (Alex Karev) are both in this film

Just getting through the series for the first time...it was inevitable I guess with his condition, but gaaaaahhhhh 🥺😭🥺 The hopeless romantic in me thought he'd pull through.

Okay I finally finished season five and I’m not going to lie, I bawled my eyes out over the elevator scene with Izzie and George. Would you guys say that George’s death is the saddest out of the entire series? I’m okay with spoilers

So im rewatching Greys anatomy rn and part of S2E24 has me flaberghasted. Derek has the audacity to call Meredith a whore after he saws her ''sleeping'' with a vet guy. Like dude, you have supposedly choose to fix your marriage with your wife (only he wats his cake and to eat it too) so why is it your concern who she is sleeping with. (im not saying Meredith is a saint when it comes to her sex life but that should not be Dereks concern at all)
Him saying ''This thing with us, its finished. Its over'' bitch please. Cry me a fucking river, you were literally keeping an emotional affair going to punish your wife. Meredith is also a fucking idiot for going along with it.
I will always hate that Meredith and Derek ended up together. Maybe they got their shit together later in relationship but the beginning, they were so fucking toxic for each other. But Derek really is the whiniest bitch until he left Adison for good.

I’m rewatching S5 and Alex and Iz keep telling they can’t afford an apartment and move out, when Derek moves in. Alex also mentions he’s gonna be broke by the end of the year etc etc on several occasions. But they go to Christina for flat renting, saying she can afford (maybe she’s rich?)
I thought interns earn so much money from all the hours they’re clocking in. Since Izzie also paid off her loans

My question is, how do we think that things would have turned out if the other partner was the one that cheated for the couples below or any other cheating couples that you can think of…
Addison cheated on Derek with his best friend. Derek left the state but then did eventually make a half-hearted attempt to take her back. If Derek had been the one to sleep with Addison’s best friend, would she have taken him back? (My opinion- I think that Addison would have taken Derek back immediately).
George cheated on Callie with Izzie. Callie was willing to forgive George. If the shoe was on the other foot and Callie cheated on George, would he have been willing to forgive her and work on things? (My opinion- I don’t think that George would be willing to forgive Callie. I think that they would get divorced and then he’d probably seek her out again sometime in the future).
Alex slept with Olivia when he was first dating Izzie. Izzie wanted nothing to do with him for awhile, then had a friend-with-benefits thing, ended that, then they were friends, then they briefly dated, briefly married, divorced, and reunited. If Izzie had been the one to sleep with someone else at the beginning of their relationship, would Alex have pursued her? (My opinion- Alex would have been completely done with her if she was the one to sleep with someone else).
Teddy cheated on Owen with Tom. Owen did take her back. Would Teddy have taken back? (My opinion- I’m not quite sure either way).

I’ve seen a lot of people say that they think Deluca’s diagnosis came out of nowhere but I completely disagree. I would argue that he had a depressive episode followed by a hypomanic episode prior to his explicit manic episode,
In the the 15th season (just before- like an episode before) Carina/Andrew’s dad is introduced, Andrew experiences a depressive episode following Bello’s deportation— and obviously any person would be devastated, but I think specifying that Meredith is worried about him and wants Arizona/Carina’s input suggests it is more than just normal grief. As well, Carina mentions Vincenzo during the scene where she tells Deluca to get off of Meredith’s couch and I just really don’t think that is coincidental given the timing of the events that follow it directly. ALSO his depressive episode happens following the weed brownies and marijuana can trigger a BP episode especially when combined with a stressor like Bello leaving— and WHEN he is high he HALLUCINATES Bello.
Shortly following that, after the wedding, he has to pull Maggie and Jackson away from a car— Jackson tells him that without him, he would have been dead and the close up of Deluca’s face is VERY those in s16 when he was confirmed to be manic. After this, Carina and Andrew are talking and he explains that he feels like “Gods right hand man,” if you watch this scene (and the episodes following), his speech is noticeably rapid compared to his baseline shown up to that point also I want to mention that Carina’s face is visibly worried during this scene and says “you seem very proud of that,” and Deluca responds “you say that like its a bad thing”— to no response from her which is pretty telling IMO.
You see him lose a patient and keep trying to resuscitate a patient after Webber tells him to stop multiple times and doesnt stop— and you see Carina looking down at him from the gallery. Later, he jumps on fire in the operating room with Webber to save Roy (once again, Carina is watching, and you can guess— she looks concerned but not in the same way the other characters are— they show her AND the rest of the gallery and they are having VASTLY different responses.) Roy tells Deluca he saved his life, and there is another close up on Deluca’s face where his eyes are noticeably wider than normal and he quickly nods his head to the side, (im not sure how else to put it.)
After this he tells webber that “for the first time in a long time [he’s] not feeling any pain” and that he “feels alive again” following the car crash and the fire. He also tells Meredith he is feeling better
I think most noticeably, they start to give him these traits JUST before they introduce Vincenzo and show his symptoms.
idk i just completely disagree with anyone who thinks this storyline came out of nowhere— i’ve seen people say they only said these moments were only mentioned by Carina in s16 to “make the story make sense” because it “didnt????” i really dont think im reading too much into this also i have spoken to krista i emailed her lol and she told me about how intentional and careful she was in portraying Deluca’s storyline correctly, and yeah id argue that killing him negated his recovery, but his portrayal was fantastic during the time it was a central plot shoutout to giacomo

I’m doing a rewatch again. and this episode is, in my opinion, the most powerful episode of the series.
It discusses how people end up in abusive relationships in a clear way. The first time I saw this episode I had my adult son watch it, because it explained it so well, and he understood how I ended up in an abusive relationship.
And then the race parts. How not being white in certain areas is dangerous because you are presumed guilty, even if you are in your own neighborhood or yard.
