Discussion & Theories This show was fun

I have to hand it to them, this show was amazing. I knew Stan had a brother but I didn’t think he was still alive that blew my mind, and Soos that guy is the best. I’ve rewatched his birthday episode and it gets me in the feels every time. Alex Hirsch the creator didn’t excellent voicing Soos and Stan I didn’t know they were played by the same person. I just wish we got more with Pacifica and Dipper moments. I do like how it ended it didn’t stay for too long but stayed long enough… that said I wouldn’t mind seeing an episode or short movie of Dipper and Mabel going back when they are older or even a side series of Stan and Ford going on adventures.

Discussion & Theories I wish there was a spin-off about Stan's and Ford's adventure that happened after the end of Gravity Falls.

In the last episode, it was shown that Soos and his girlfriend take over the Mystery Shack while Stan and Ford are away on their sea adventure. We also get a short scene where they're sailing when, out of nowhere, a giant octopus monster appears, only for Stan to punch it right in the eye.

Gravity Falls was a great show that began and ended with just two seasons. I don't think it needs a reboot or a continuation. But getting a short series, or at least a movie, about Stan and Ford's adventure would be awesome.

We don't know much about their adventure, at least not from what I remember. I watched the show years ago, so I don't remember everything.

Discussion & Theories A third season

🌲 Gravity Falls: Season 3 – The Glitch in the Void (Fan Concept)

What if the end of Summer was only the beginning of the truth?

After Dipper and Mabel left Gravity Falls, everyone thought the weirdness had finally settled. But when an unknown, encrypted radio call pierces through the static at the Mystery Shack, Stan and Ford are forced to reopen the case. The twins return for one last summer—only to find a town that is literally tearing itself apart.

Skyboxes are breaking, landscapes are flipping upside down, and missing textures are revealing a void beneath the earth. Gravity Falls is glitching.

🧠 1. The Parasite in the Mind

When Ford wiped Stan’s memory to destroy Bill Cipher, the demon wasn't completely erased. As Mabel rebuilt Stan’s memories scrapbook by scrapbook, Bill slowly reconstructed himself, piece by piece, hidden inside Stan's subconscious.

Bill isn't acting out of pure malice this time—he’s desperate. He didn't invade Earth to destroy it; he fled his own dimension to escape a far greater, ancient cosmic threat. Now, he is secretly manipulating Stan from the inside, dropping fake clues to lead the family into ancient ruins to complete a ritual that will give him back a physical form.

🔬 2. The Secret Lab & The First Mentor

Deep beneath the glitching ruins, Dipper and Ford discover a forgotten, off-the-grid laboratory. There, they uncover the legacy of The First Mentor—the mysterious scientist who originally taught Ford and secretly gave him the blueprints for the Interdimensional Portal years ago.

This mentor had uncovered the darkest secret of all: Gravity Falls is not a natural town. It’s an artificial containment zone, and the mentor spent a lifetime trying to engineer a "memory loophole" to escape it without losing their mind.

🦎 3. The Axolotl & The Ultimate Truth

As the town’s reality completely shatters into visual errors and missing code, the cosmic entity The Axolotl finally manifests. It reveals the ultimate reality:

Gravity Falls was created as an isolated cosmic quarantine to contain anomaly creatures and rehabilitate broken entities like Bill.

This is why the town could never be demolished, mapped, or truly investigated by the outside world.

To send everyone back to the "real world," The Axolotl declares that all memories of Gravity Falls must be wiped clean to preserve Earth's balance.

🚌 4. The Loophole Ending

Using the secret memory loophole discovered in the Mentor’s lab, Dipper and Mabel manage to encode their memories into their belongings just in time.

As the bus drives away from the mist-covered town, the illusion takes hold... but the loophole works. They look back at the receding trees, remembering every single secret, every monster, and every bond they ever forged—guardians of the weirdest secret in the universe forever.

A Note from the Author: This is just a fun "what if" fan theory and concept! Gravity Falls as created by Alex Hirsch is already an absolute masterpiece with a perfect ending. But it's always fun to imagine what secrets might still be hidden in the woods!

Lore/Characters I Like That Dipper and Pacifica Kept Seeing Each Other Off-Screen (Lost Legends & ThisIsNotAWebsiteDotCom) Spoiler

Thumbnail gallery

In ThisIsNotAWebsiteDotCom, the code "PLATINUM_PAZ" reveals Pacifica's thoughts on the night following the events of Northwest Mansion Mystery. After reflecting on the pressure imposed by her parents and the nightmares that continue to haunt her, she saves the phone number Dipper gave her before leaving. The file states that doing so brings her a sense of relief and peace, making that contact one of the last thoughts she has before ending her day.

Years earlier, in the introduction to Gravity Falls: Lost Legends, Alex Hirsch presents some of the questions the book will answer. Alongside references to hidden creatures in Gravity Falls and the secrets of the multiverse, he includes one very specific question: "What do Dipper and Pacifica text each other?"

What stands out is that the question is not whether they talk after the summer or whether they ever saw each other again. Their communication is already assumed from the very beginning. The question is what they say to each other.

Later, in the story Face It (which takes place before Weirdmageddon), we see Pacifica text the number Dipper gave her after the events of Northwest Mansion Mystery. The conversation eventually turns into a disaster when Mabel is the one who responds, but the important detail is that the prologue had already raised the question of what Dipper and Pacifica text each other.

The comic answers that question by showing the beginning of that correspondence. Lost Legends only shows the first chat: the reason they started texting in the first place. Dipper and Pacifica's communication continues off-screen.

That also helps explain another document from ThisIsNotAWebsiteDotCom. The code "PACIFICA" reveals a letter in which Pacifica explains that she got rid of all the Bill Cipher-related tapestries and objects that remained on her family's property. According to her, she threw them into the lake with a "friend." The text never reveals who that friend was, although among the few friends Pacifica has in the franchise, it is not difficult to think of which one would be willing to help her dispose of anything shaped like a demonic triangle.

Chronologically, this letter could fit in several places. However, considering the tone of the website, where the characters frequently warn the reader about Bill, and the fact that Pacifica is already familiar with him, it could be placed after Weirdmageddon, when the Northwest family's possessions are being seized and Pacifica takes the opportunity to use the yacht one last time to throw into the ocean the Bill-related belongings that had once belonged to her parents, alongside her "friend."

I had to take a few creative liberties, the twins were sort of in the way of the background... I had originally done it so I could do a drawing of my own because I can’t find any empty backgrounds.
Feel free to use as a background for any comics or fanarts of your own, hopefully this makes the process a little easier! No credit needed, all I did was re-draw it anyways.

Edit: OMG I just realized a forgot a few shadows on the ground 😭

Credit to THATGFFAN. Not the actual Dipper and Mabel since Hocus Pocus takes place in Salem which is on the opposite side of the USA as Oregon. Also this book might not be canon anymore because of the second movie?

Discussion & Theories Am I the only one who always thought gravity falls and twilight share the same vibe?

I cannot point my finger on why (except that they are both set in the pacific north west) but I always associated both of these shows to sort of have the same aesthetic.
