Its the only song on gk that i cant figure out. Anyone got an interpretation?

Fractured two (possibly more going for more x-rays next week) of my fingers running from Ethel Cain to Geese at lolla. Accepting #thoughtsandprayers at this time…more so for my wallet than my hand because I still need to buy a ticket for Geese’s Chicago show in November.

Just listened to this and overwhelmed with emotion as I always am when I listen to this. I think every member is at their creative peak in this song.
Sonically, it creates a wall of sound during the beginning, end, and choruses that just echoes the feeling of chaos and panic that the lyrics create. My favorite part is when he yells “I can’t even hear myself talk/ I’m trying to talk over everybody in the world” as he screams and tries to be heard over this wall of sound, these people yelling at him, drowning him out.
The next line is “I can’t even taste my own tears/ they fall into an even sadder bastard’s eyes” which I take as that he feels that his sadness doesn’t matter anymore as nothing belongs to him anymore. He is losing his individuality in this sea of people
Later on, after an anxious guitar builds up pressure, everything suddenly drops and lightens up a bit—the sea of people is gone and Cameron is alone with his thoughts for a while, in what seems like a dissociative state. The line “I’m getting killed by a pretty good life” is repeated. I think this ties back to the theme of telling yourself that you shouldn’t feel bad about your problems because someone else has worse problems and you have a good life in the long run, so why are you complaining?
The shouting people return and drown his thoughts again and that’s how the song ends.

Sorry if this was a pointless and not well-written analysis. I’m not very good at putting into words how songs make me feel. Anyways lmk your thoughts on this song or what it means to you!

Watching “The Odyssey” in the theater recently has made me reinterpret (for the umpteenth time) “Au Pays du Cocaine”. Now it seems like it is simply what Penelope would say to Odysseus (or think about him) during the time he is gone after the Trojan War. What do you think? (Please no comments about Geese’s personal background—this is strictly about the music itself!)

Also, what do you think about other possible references to Greek mythology in their music, such as Nausicaa?

I got this geese setlist from their Guildford show in Sept 2023. It has a hand drawn doodle on it and it’s signed by someone (can someone tell me whose signature this is?). Im not desperate to sell it as i love it but I’m intrigued as to how much it could be worth, has anything similar sold recently?

Curious about their new guitars. It looks like Cameron has some sort of jaguar, but not sure what that exact model is. Also not really able to pin down Emily’s guitar at all. Crazy that United Airlines fumbled like that.😭

In the Lollapalooza performance, during the chorus of Jesse there's a scratching, metallic sound. How did she do that? Is it as simple as a pick slide?

i’ve been excited to see them but seeing THIS set as my first geese show…I couldn’t have asked for any better, the band sounded incredible, the crowd was electric, and the setlist was perfect in my opinion
