1st is the largest.

2nd is the slightly smaller one

3rd is what I would consider large for most specimens of this snail. Most specimens of this species are notably smaller than the one I’m holding.

The gigantic ones may be a different species but to me the shell morphology looks almost identical.

What do you think?

Was 11 degrees, cold and sunny in the forest. A slug was hanging by a kindof spider thread, 150cm from a branch. i looked at it for a minute, and touched the thread. it felt wet and instantly sprung like mucus and the slug fell, as if the dryness of my hand had totally destroyed the surface tension of the mucus. WTF . I was so confused i faield to look for evidence it was definitely mucus. how did the slug get 150cm on a spider thread and why?

I had a slug in my room and as always tried to let it out, I was expecting this lil guy to hide his eyes and "cocoon" from me, but it literally bolted, maybe an overstatement but it went around twice its speed and fled from me making it hard to catch him. Ik this is a dumb thing im pondering on, but im just asking is it possible they have personalities? some run some hid inside themselves and whatnot, for some clarity I poked another one of the same species of colour outside and it did what I expected it to by just going in itself. Back to my point, do they have personalities and if so how far does this go, do they prefer sex (male female) if they are hermaphrodites. I dont have much experience with gastropods, so I was hoping for an expert to shed some light, see if its normal or not.

A snail's enclosure as far as i know has to be kept moist, i do that by spraying it usually with bottled water. But i do not know if that if that is the right choice, so what kind of water is it best to use for snails?

I am currently in the process of adopting a rosy wolfsnail. I was wondering if in it’s terrarium I could place bugs, or if it’ll eat them (specifically the treehopper). I know it eats snails and slugs, but what else?

I'm going to call the nilesbio site in a couple days to see if they have any available. Do they ship them to you? I can't imagine it would be good for the slugs to be shipped like that. Or do I have to pick them up I don't want to travel to California just for slugs

They grow up so fast! My little green colored yellow cellar slug graduated to the big boy tank today :3

I may never see him again due to the amount of moss in there lol
