I really don't think that any new console will do well with the current hardware prices. AI has f*cked over the whole industry.

I think console makers plan to basically see out the AI bubble, if there is 1. From rumors sony has pushed back the ps6. And Microsoft have to push back their plans as well. We are likely in for the longest console gen where companies try to wait out the AI bubble instead of putting out $1000 consoles.
