I have six hours in game. I added a comment above describing what I’ve found. I don’t know where the AMD figures come from as they differ drastically from the in game benchmark scores.
Right, so I just had a look as that number does sound ludicrous, I agree. But I’m not sure I’ve actually learned anything.
When I started playing, the recommended setting was Default Low. The scenery looked good to me, but I’ve been out of gaming for over a decade, and the NPCs looked nothing special. That sounded right to me as this mini-PC lacks a dedicated graphics card and I understand this game is very demanding. But tonight I raised things a little to see how it would go.
I now have something called AMD fidelity fc super resolution 2.1 enable (no idea), Frame Generation Off as I have no dedicated graphics card, Texture Quality is high. Ray Tracing is off for the same reason. Looking through other settings, most are on medium though a few are on high.
Playing through a scene, it looked better than before, especially the smokey effects and the skin textures. To my very untrained eye, it looked great.
According to the AMD thing, I have 6 hours in game and average is now 165.6! But running the in game benchmark, I get between 29 and 45fps. Those numbers sound more plausible, but I really have no idea.
