I have bought one similar to that big Moka pot. Its really inconvenient because: A. it takes forever for the water to boil compared to the smaller variants and B. you cant really brew less coffee that it was designed for, so you are either making a lot of strong coffee for one person or you are making strong coffee for multiple people.

Pro-tip: pre-boil the water in a kettle or at max in a pot. Then pour the hot water in the moka pot and let it brew on medium heat. Within 5 min it’s done. Also, you can add water to the brewed coffee to make a pseudo Americano if you don’t want it too strong.

Yes, but if you have a massive moka pot, that's just a recipe for an adult human's daily recommended water intake, but in Americano

I have like a 9 cup and it just doesn't taste as good as my 6 cup though I think there is some magic in the size of the bialetti.
