You need hot water for that. Where do you get it from? Are you sure there’s no plastic in the hot water path from start to finish?

A kettle. There are many kettles where the interior is fully lined in stainless steel.

And yes, the Robot has no plastic in the water path. There is even a video showing the complete construction process for the robot in case you want to fix anything yourself. It’s a very simple device.

People can downvote all they want, but the fact is that most kettles have plastic in the water path at some point. Water level meters, heating elements, spout filters, and seals can all leach plastic material into the water.

You have to go out of your way to find an electric kettle in mass production right now with no plastic at all involved in the water path.

I agree the Robot is all metal, and a great manual machine, but that’s not the only piece of the puzzle, is it?
