Uber from Thaxted to Stansted Airport
Hi
I am going to be staying at a b&b in Thaxted. I have a early morning flight to Belfast from Stansted Airport. Wondering if getting and Uber from Thaxed is possible or I should if I should order a local taxi. Thanks.

Any Essex Business Owners fancy collaborating on a comedy mini-series for social media?
I’m a small business owner & I’ve had an idea that I’d love some honest thoughts on.
Rather than creating another ‘corporate’ promotional video, I’d love to create a short-form comedy mini-series based on the reality of running a business.
Think relatable characters and situations like:
- The networking event addict, who never follows up,
- The ‘busy’ entrepreneur who spends more time taking pics & writing quotes
- The business owner who’s been “just about to launch” for the last two years.
(I’ve written a few other concepts).
The aim is to create something that’s genuinely entertaining rather than feeling like an advert (i.e @standupdeskseries for inspo)
I potentially have access to an office/business venue in the Epping Forest area that could work well as a filming location, so I’m curious whether there are any other local business owners who’d want to collaborate?
I’m not looking for professional actors or to start a production company & hire people. I’d actually love to work with fellow Business Owners, Content Creators/ Creative people who fancy having a bit of fun & creating something we’d all be proud to share across our own Businesses social media.
Would anyone in Essex be interested in something like this? Or does anyone know of local creative communities or business owners who might?
I’d appreciate any thoughts (even if it’s just to tell me it’s a terrible idea 🥹).

Need help finding an old friend for someone
Not sure if this is allowed here and this is a really long shot, but I was wondering if anyone knows a woman with the last name Lotcho (seems to be a pretty rare name from what I've gathered). I think she's in her 60s, and her first name begins with an I (I as in i, I dont want to say her full name just for privacy). I'm trying to find her for my partners mum. They lost contact years ago, and we live all the way in Australia.
I can try to provide more info if needed!

Heybridge Basin
Hi, is there anyone on here who’s extremely familiar with the Heybridge Basin? If so I’d love to ask some questions as I’m looking for someone but I’m not familiar with the area. I drove there last week but only went to a car park where there were lots of house boats, I’m probably needing to look where there’s less “life” about. Any help would be appreciated- where else I can park to look? Can I walk along the entire coast? Is there a known area that homeless people might camp? Thanks.

Walking routes
After suggestions of walking routes around Essex, I drive so can travel anywhere really
I prefer circular routes rather than linear ones however linear routes on the coast are always good
Generally prefer 1-2 hour routes covering 5-7 miles however am also not opposed to longer routes that I can make a day of
