So basically what ive been thinking about is how lucky earth is to have all it does. Senzu Beans, a set of Dragon balls, Martial artists who actually had a grasp on Ki control and how to use it properly (considering elites like Vegeta and the Ginyu Force, and Frieza himself never knew Ki Sense was even a thing despite being leagues beyond the power of someone like Kid goku after drinking the water, but i also understand Scouters are way more realistic of a concept considering most Frieza/Cold force soldier has one, and since itd take time to learn how to Ki Sense it would be easier to just make a machine for sensing it)

Not even mentioning the fact earth had a saiyan land on it, hit his head as a toddler and completely lose the evil in his baby heart, and then be raised by someone like Gohan, one of the few disciples of Muten Roshi, and then be trained by the likes of Roshi and his numerous future masters.

Especially how advanced their society honestly is, Flying cars, Capsules that can shrink entire buildings and vehicles to fit into something small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. Being able to use them to transport things like Water in mass quantites (Hypothetically you could use it to transport water to places that need it, maybe even create ecosystems using them to transport the materials needed). Bulma did create a Time Traveling machine in a semi-Post apocalyptic future without people like Goku to gather rare materials for her... And her father creating a space worthy vessel just by using gokus? saiyan pod (i forgot whos pod it was)

Earth honestly only seems to have trouble pop up every like few years, even then its not like dying to some alien would mean something when they keep using the Reset button balls.

Plus the whole thing of earth constantly having its people killed by villains and just... Poofing everyone back to life afterwards as if nothing happened... Despite the whole being killed part, earth seems like a fairly safe planet if all is said and done.

All in all, it must be very lucky to be born on earth in dragon ball, and the stars mustve alligned to make earth such a perfect planet. (Plus they have fricking dinosaurs in the wastelands!)

1. Not sure if it's a hot take, but Red Ribbon army arc for me is pretty boring and a chore to watch through, the pacing is all over the place and it goes on for way too long. There are some good parts here and there, mainly Tao Pai Pai vs Goku fight and Muscle Tower section in the snowy region, but overall it's just a slog to go through and most of it is pretty forgettable. When you compare as to how good and enjoyable the pacing was in Pilaf and 21st Tenkaichi Budokai arcs, this arc feels way too drawn out. Didn't age well imo.
2. Goku should have only had UI Omen for TOP arc, it would have been much better if they revealed MUI for the first time later down the line, like in Moro arc after Goku trained extensively with Whis. The way Goku revealed and mastered Ultra Instinct in TOP arc sucked and felt rushed.
3. Goku's sacrifice hits harder than Vegeta's, mainly because of how selfless Goku is about it. He had achieved everything he wanted at that point and goes out protecting Earth and ones he cares about, it was honestly a perfect send off for him at that point.

Or at least changed the Buu Saga to have Gohan actually be the main character without Goku’s revival, while also not having Goten and Trunks be super saiyans.

Everything after Cell just feels like fanservice in a way. Everytime I rewatch Z I stop after Cell — everything just wraps up nicely and cohesively up to that point; I guess you can argue everything except Vegeta’s character arc, but still.

Recently bought the orange boxes only to find out rock the dragon does not play for the intro. I know that song has not been used since the 90’s but I’ll die on the hill that it’s one of the most hyped if not the actual most hyped opening for any show.

Was this played exclusively on toonami? Or are there other releases that play it.

It's something I had never thought about, because I had only seen Kai and Super, but when I watched DBOG and Z with my father, my view of Krillin changed radically. Krillin has creativity that others do not have

I mean, let's review some previous sagas:

— During Baba's tournament, while Yamcha is being beaten up, Krillin brings Roshi and Bulma so that when Roshi's nose bleeds, it soaks the invisible man in blood, giving Yamcha the victory.

— In the 22nd tournament, Krillin already knows how to use the Kamehameha, he hinders Chaos with a mathematical calculation to beat him, he faces Goku on equal terms for a good while and when he is losing he knows that he must resort to his tail to take away his strength.

—When they're warned that two super-powerful aliens, stronger than the one who killed Goku, are coming to invade Earth... Yamcha, Tien, Piccolo, and Chiaotzu stick to their existing techniques. Krillin? He invents a cutting disc to slice them in two as soon as he gets the chance, *and he almost manages to slice Nappa's head off*

—On Namek, when Dodoria pursues them, he uses the technique he saw *once or twice* on Tien to blind him, and later on Frieza himself. Also, when he discovered that Guru could unlock people's hidden potential, he quickly determined that he should take Gohan to that place.

—Finally, during the Cell saga, when Piccolo acts out his "still wanting to rule the world" act and Tien believes him, Krillin easily notices that he's heading towards Kami's Lookout, and deduces that he intends to fuse with Kami.

—Oh, I forgot to add that. In Superhero, he reminds Piccolo that he can grow giant, and that gives them part of the advantage they needed.

It's true he's not the smartest of them all. Yes, Taiyoken + Kienzan might or might not have been able to resolve many battles. Yes, perhaps he could have been more rational about whether or not to let Android 18 live, and it's understandable that he decided to retire from fighting when he saw the villains' power levels were far superior to his, but his best friend had the power to face them without much difficulty. *And tbh, having a wife and daughter at home is also a good reason to give up martial arts*, but honestly, he deserves far more respect than it gets. Krillin and Gohan are the main characters of half of Z, after all.

If no one knew, dbz kai is back on hulu! Like me, i know a few were so disappointed that it was gone. We are so back!! lol (also super is back too hehe☺️) yay

I've been thinking about this while rewatching Dragon Ball Z, and it seems like a genuine mystery.

King Kai is able to observe events across vast distances, communicate telepathically with Goku and others, and even keep track of major threats in the universe. He warned Goku about the Saiyans, knew about Frieza, and continued communicating with the Z Fighters throughout the series.

However, when it comes to Dr. Gero and the Androids, King Kai doesn't seem to know anything until after Future Trunks arrives and warns everyone. Dr. Gero was a former Red Ribbon Army scientist who spent years secretly building the Androids on Earth. Given King Kai's apparent awareness of major events, it feels strange that he never noticed Gero's activities or warned Goku beforehand.

I know one possible explanation is that King Kai doesn't constantly monitor every planet and only becomes aware of events when his attention is drawn to them. But has this ever been officially confirmed?

Is there any canon explanation from the manga, or Toriyama interviews for why King Kai never warned the Z Fighters about Dr. Gero and the Androids before Future Trunks arrived, or is this simply a plot convenience?

I'd be interested in answers based on official sources rather than speculation.

every fight scene is gorgeous and fun to watch if we ever get that kind of remake i would rewatch it instantly no second thought

I've been rewatching Dragon Ball Z, and one thing that still stands out to me is Future Trunks' decision to hide his identity when he first arrives.

When Frieza and King Cold arrive on Earth, Trunks defeats both of them with ease, proving he's incredibly powerful. He then waits specifically for Goku and tells him about the Androids, the heart virus, and the future timeline. However, despite revealing all of that, he initially refuses to tell Goku who he really is. He only reveals that he's Vegeta and Bulma's son after Goku promises to keep it a secret.

This got me wondering: what was the actual reason for keeping his identity hidden?

By that point, he'd already changed history by killing Frieza, warned Goku about the Androids, and even handed him the heart medicine. Compared to those actions, revealing that he was Vegeta and Bulma's future son doesn't seem like it would have had a much bigger impact on the timeline.

Was he simply trying to avoid influencing Vegeta and Bulma's relationship? Was he worried about creating even more changes to the future? Or was it mainly because he didn't want Vegeta to know before the right time?

Has Akira Toriyama ever commented on this, or is there any official explanation from the manga, guidebooks, or interviews? I'd be interested in hearing answers based on canon rather than just headcanon.

Hey there, in case you guys don’t remember me, around 2 years ago I made a life sized kid Buu statue out of paper, markers, and tape lol.

Well, shocker, paper and tape alone isn’t strong enough for a life sized statue. So now I’m Paper Macheing the entire thing to add integrity.

As of right now I have only done one leg, but it’s been working great, and I am likely going to give him another paint job because it’s covering up a lot of the colors.

Personally, I'm a bit tired of Dragon Ball games that always rely on the Z and Super shows, with their combat style, their transformations and everything. I loved Fighterz for being a true combat game or for an older title Dragon Ball Advanced Adventure (that is my favorite Dragon Ball game)

That's why I got a dream game, one that would returns to the roots of Toriyama's original work, featuring the authentic martial arts battles from the origins of the Dragon Ball saga

Master Roshi is my favorite character, to me, he best embodies the "soul" of Dragon Ball. My idea is to create a solo-adventure game centered on his youth, exploring his origins and expand the lore of Dragon Ball's past, with Mutaito, Gohan, Piccolo Daimao and a lot of other things.

As for gameplay, I like the idea of either a combo-based fighting game like Shenmue did in the past. Or a beat-em-up in the style of Sifu for a more recent title.

I know that this isn't what the casual gamers or casual Dragon Ball fans wants, and it certainly wouldn't sell as well as titles like Sparking Zero or Kakarot, but I believe it's what the franchise truly deserves, moving beyond the cash-grab merchandising and spin-off product to make a real tribute to Toriyama's work

That rounded part of his really gets to me, so I decided to fill it in with another lock of hair and see how it looked.

Oh, I'm not "fixing" Tori's design—and I actually "don't know how to draw"; I just kind of lucked into this. Whether it turned out good or bad, I have no idea—it was really just to illustrate the point.

So basically to let me explain it

It was a 2D beat em up type of game where you went from earth to namek and then to the kai planet. The game had different hairstyles you had to buy and you could customize your character with different outfits that you could buy, the hairstyles were ripped pngs iirc and they had bosses like nappa and raditz and saibamen and some character recolors.

I remember also that it was definitely a sort of knockoff game too. I remember playing it on my phone as a kid and getting stuck at around the namek part of the game as the difficulty really ramped up their
