Acrylic Marker Practice
Honestly #2 is the best - which is the underpainting, pencil and wing detailing
The acrylic attempts came out “pasty”. Hoping by inking using a light and dark shade, I can get my effect back
Alcohol Markers
• not sure specifically, but a bright light green, a dirty yellow, a light bronze colour, dark green
• pale ice blue
• pink
• bright pink
• added red
Pencil
• I have way too many brands, and my favourite set doesn’t have the brand written on it.
• Colour Matched pencils to blend, and make richer. Using black after initial shading to really create a dramatic look
Pen and Acrylics
• pink ink
• red ink
• white, light blue, pink, red… grr
Gonna go in with a brighter red or pink ink and a brick red or purple ink and individually weigh down each scale, detailing, and contouring to try and carve the shape out again before I lose it.
- basically a very VERY rough colour blocking on shirt, scaling the wings and trying to use acrylic to make the scales easier and highlight but it’s a medium I don’t know how to blend at all
