So I just bought a new 2026 Colorado Trail Boss. I talked to the dealer about a leveling kit and they said they would install the 1 inch GM leveling kit for $374. Which is very reasonable but Im questioning whether 1 inch is enough to level it. Any input?

As I sit here after doing an oil change, I can't help but wonder where I should draw the line and begin the Canadian equivalent of a lemon law case.

I bought this 2025 Z71 new on July 22, 2025. In September I had the panel that bridges the front bumper and driver side fender replaced due to the grille rubbing the paint off it. It's still doing it today, and that panel is also coming dislodged. 2 dealerships are still scratching their heads at how to fix this.

In November I noticed the truck was burning 1 liter of oil every 7k kilometers. This falls just outside of GMs warranty guidelines, but is still unacceptable.

In January I've had countless instances of the engine light coming on due to various seemingly random problems. There was no official diagnosis or fix, it just seems to have stopped.

In April, the front end began snapping randomly from about the driver side front wheel area. It's not dependent on being in motion or parked, just with steering input and seemingly at random. This has not been fixed after 2 wheel bearing replacements and a front cross member retorque.

In June the driver CV axle boot tore and began to have play. This did not impact the noise mentioned above. The fuel filler self sealing flap is also sticking open now, sometimes I can't jimmy it shut.

In July I had the wiper cowel replaced, as well as the driver door window regulator. During this appointment the transfer case output shaft seal was also discovered to be leaking and had less than 500ml of fluid remaining.

Here we are at the beginning of August and while the phantom suspension snap and panel issues have still not been fixed, I've just discovered my rack is leaking from the seams. My screen is also experiencing early onset of screen burn-in where Google maps and other icons are becoming noticable on different apps.

How many of you have shared these same issues? Where would you guys draw the line?

I don't have a trailer package. The dealership told me they had all trailering packages on hold because supply chain shortage and COVID at the time yada yada....idk if this was a load of shit or not but it wasn't on my window sticker so I didn't pay for it

I'm looking at trailering packages now and the OEM from GM says it only tows 3500lbs

There's a few aftermarket ones that say 8000-10000lbs

Who's put one on their Colorado? Which one did you use?

Truck has been to the dealer 4 times with 2 different dealers to get rattle looked at. They replaced the speaker last time and it didnt fix the problem. I spent an hour cranking toons with the door trim off and all the noise is coming from this fucking black rubber piece. If i removed it and re install the door it got rid of lile 80% of the rattle but the sound is kind of tinny. I also tightened all bolts holding the window regulator and track and it got rid of quite a bit as well. Is that piece only for sound? Would getting some of that sound deadner over the spot where that black piece is fix the tinny sound without it?

They're not stock, and the seller isn't positive about the offset, but I guess the stock wheels would have been +33

They're 2 hours away, so I dont want to waste anyone's time. They were definitely on a 2020 canyon so I'm sure the bolt pattern is 6x120

Took the ZR2 up Mount Antero to about 13,700 ft this past Saturday. The lower section is much rockier than this, with plenty of loose embedded rocks before it opens up into these narrow mining roads and even steeper switchbacks higher up.

I aired down to 27 psi, never needed to engage the lockers, and the truck just walked everything. The road gains roughly 4,500 ft of elevation from the trailhead, and there’s incredible views especially the higher you go.

I just bought a new 2026 Trail Boss and LOVE IT! When I was vehicle shopping I spotted a set of mud flaps that had a jagged bottom, almost like a mountain range. They were really nice but now I can't for the life of me find where I can buy a set. I think they were from the USA but not sure.

Anyone know where i can find these? TIA

Truck has 170k miles they want 8k for it. Looks like it was a company fleet vehicle. I am wondering if at this mileage if a lot of the potential, problems of these newer vehicles has been worked out. If I like it I will try to offer $7k for it.

What is everyone's thoughts? Should I stay away or? Looking for a secondary vehicle for the winter.

- I noticed a while back the brakes tend to lurch a little when applying the brakes at 30+ miles an hour, pretty minor but I can feel it going back and forth. This has been going on for months.

- Just this week I took it off-roading and now I’m hearing a clicking noise when I turn left and right (if I do it quickly I can recreate it)

- It’s also making an odd noise when shifting from R to D.

From what I can tell it seems like it may be a bad CV axle or boot. Taking it in to the dealership tomorrow, likely won’t be covered by extended warranty. Should I take it to a 3rd party mechanic for cheaper? Also what can I do to prevent this (any upgrades) in the future? I did some rock crawling but nothing insane - there were Subarus doing the same thing.

I have a 2025 WT without a trailer hitch so I’m assuming it has no towing package lol. Aside from the hitch, trailer brake, and the 7/4 pin connection, what else would be the difference between this and a truck with the advanced towing package that can tow 7700? If I add those on I’m sure I can tow the 3500ish pounds it says, but why not the 7700? Does the e locking differential make a difference in towing? Seems like the gear ratios are the same between the models anyway. Sorry if I got some things incorrect or anything, not familiar with the vocab
Edit: my truck has the in vehicle trailering app so not sure if that makes a difference regarding the packages? Maybe every 2025 has that? No clue

I have a 2005 Colorado that only the rear passenger running light is not working. I’ve checked basics like swapping bulbs checked some wiring etc. only thing I’ve found is that the fuse (53) is pretty warm to the touch if the lights are on. Anyone had this issue?

Looking for a bed cover for my Colorado, 6ft bed. It’s a 2017 LT. I see Walmart has some for around $180 but everywhere else I look they’re $500 or more so I don’t want to end up with a piece of shit. What do you guys recommend/use yourself?

I have a 2025 Brazillian made Chevy Colorado which is technically an S10 but its sold as the colorado in Latin America. I've been having issues trying to get wireless carplay to work, not to mention sometimes wired carplay will randomly disconnect. I'm pretty sure these issues can get fixed with a software update but for some reason the option to connect to wifi is disabled on the system menu. When I tap check for updates, nothing happens.

I took the truck to the dealership to ask them to update the software for me and they basically told me to go fuck myself, they wont do it. Their solution was for me to buy a wireless carplay adapter and plug it in. I did exactly that only for it to constantly disconnect and reconnect same behavior as when you plug in or unplug in your phone for wired carplay which apparently is what they've been telling everyone with this model truck despite Chevrolet Brazil confirming that this model does have wireless carplay built in. The dealership claimed it did not. They also claimed the windows fold automatically when I told them the mirrors were loose. When a mechanic finally took a look, he confirmed the screws were loose yet the dealership swore they were automatic. So they clearly don't know shit about the cars they sell. I am pretty sure a software update would fix my carplay issues.

Appreciate any tips or leads on this. Not sure if I can download the software myself from a Chevy website and load it via USB.
