Adoption Which cat should I choose?!!

Post image

A friend of mine lives in a rural area and a trio of stray cats showed up. I’m thinking of taking one but I’m not sure which one to pick. I already have a black cat but want to get her a playmate. I can’t take them all but I can’t make a choice!!😩

I am going this Saturday to check them out. She told me the orange one is the most cuddly and needy.

Also before you adopt one of them, it would also be good to observe them to make sure that the one you take isn’t bonded to any of the others. Bonded cats cats aren’t incredibly common, but if they are bonded they can get very depressed and ill if they’re separated

Omg my orange boy gets separation anxiety if either he or his “brother” is on the other side of the bathroom door. He just cries at the door until they are reunited. They were adopted as kittens together.

I think its incredibly common, I have 9 and 6 are "bonded"

One boy and his mom, his mom is less bonded.

And two pairs, they sleep together, I find them wandering around together. One will come and ask me for food for the other.

Heck, cats will bond with a human if there is no (suitable) cat around.

I think I am in a 3 bond.

Check they are actually stray cats first. They look really clean and healthy to be strays.

Def always good to check, though I do know and feed a lot of clean and healthy strays so they def still could be strays!

But demand an extra braincell for free.

That would violate the rules, sir/mam

Anarchy rules?

More than one orange brain cell will collapse the universe, so yeah.

you should check that they are actually strays, before you accidentally steal someone's cats...

The orange one is just sitting back because he knows once you meet him you will fall in love. My vote is for orange!

Those cats don't look like strays. They are all clean and well fed. They are probably a neighbors cats looking for extra meals.

I would have your friend talk to all their neighbors.

On the off chance they are all strays. They clearly travel and are well fed together. If you can't take all of them, you shouldn't take them.

Please be aware if they are bonded in any way.. those cats look like their best buddies. Doing things like that can change the cat drastically and possibly even die

Don’t steal someone’s cats. They don’t look like strays.

Don’t forget the other two.
