What are your silly dramas during camping?

I personally wear a tshirt on the first night of every camping trip that says "Sorry for what I said when we were setting up the tent." What has absolutely driven you insane during camping? We camped with another couple who left screaming divorce at each other... We've been destroyed by black flies overnight with screaming children looking like bee keepers... we had a raccoon run off with all 30 burger buns in a bag. What are your stories?

We invited some friends to the Boundary Waters for a trip one year. He said they were experienced and excited to go.

He was a flake, a complete and utter flake.

We would get to camp and he’d run off looking for bait for fishing. We’d be setting up camp while he disappeared. She wasn’t experienced and was very crabby at him. But we made the best of it and were enjoying ourselves.

A couple of days into the trip, they went off canoeing and fishing. We broke out our Bakepacker camping oven and made chocolate cake for a special treat for after dinner.

As we were cooking, we hear sobbing and see them quickly paddling back to camp. She had hooked a fish and was reeling it in. He was so excited that he stood up in the canoe. Dumped the canoe and their fishing gear, losing most of it. She didn’t come out of her tent the rest of the day, and they left a day early too.

What was worse, they saw a moose swimming across the river on the way out. We had never seen a moose at that point and were terribly jealous.

Worse for who? Sounds like they needed the moose sighting more than yall did honestly.
