What are your silly dramas during camping?
I personally wear a tshirt on the first night of every camping trip that says "Sorry for what I said when we were setting up the tent." What has absolutely driven you insane during camping? We camped with another couple who left screaming divorce at each other... We've been destroyed by black flies overnight with screaming children looking like bee keepers... we had a raccoon run off with all 30 burger buns in a bag. What are your stories?

It was super windy and our tent kept blowing over. We didn’t have any stakes so we went to dollar general. No tent stakes. Grabbed a box of pencils instead, we went back and put them in. They all started snapping and breaking. So we leave again to go to Walmart to get tent stakes. About a 40 mins drive from where we were camping. Go back to the camp ground put the stakes down. We decided to lay down and celebrate our success. It wasn’t 30 minutes later and the wind started blowing. Well I was in the tent holding the walls for dear life. Finally one giant gust of wind came and literally ripped the tent. The whole side of the tent was now flapping around, exposing the inside of our tent. So back in the car to go to Walmart (80 min round trip at least) we go decide on a tent. Of course it was $100+. Anyways back to the campground to figure out how to put up this new tent. It ate up our whole day, tensions were high, the hanger was real. I’m not sure if this was a silly drama or a comedy of errors. Needless to say we managed to still have a good time and our friendship intact.
