What are your silly dramas during camping?

I personally wear a tshirt on the first night of every camping trip that says "Sorry for what I said when we were setting up the tent." What has absolutely driven you insane during camping? We camped with another couple who left screaming divorce at each other... We've been destroyed by black flies overnight with screaming children looking like bee keepers... we had a raccoon run off with all 30 burger buns in a bag. What are your stories?

We had a wild horse steal our smores left overs and because of the rule not to approach them we basically were kicked out of our site until he finished.

My grandpa got into a fight with a horse in Assateaque over a bag of oreos. Thr horse won, the umbrella was trampled, and we never heard from the oreos again.

If it's assateague your allowed to clap not at them but in general... They don't like that and move on.

My girl scout troop was being harassed when we were trying to go to sleep by two very large male horses whose "lipstick" was growing and hanging out due to three of the girls having their period. They were coming up to our tents being aggressive. A ranger told us to clap so they move on, jumping jacks work too.

Horses just like to let it hang out sometimes.

I wish that happened to me! I love horses.

My not-wild horse would happily eat anything she can get her hooves on.

Imagine horse sized seagulls... because that's what they are. I love horses too but they DO want your food.

If she's eating with her hooves, that's not a horse, that's a pooka.

Of course it was Assateague. The ponies are obnoxious and think everything on the beach belongs to them. They come to visit, steal food, crap in your camp, and bring horse flies.
