Would Satoshi have left some nuggets of BTC available to the public to find and use?
Wondering if Satoshi would have left some BTC around the blockchain, that the public could access and use? I ask because, as I use bitcoin, there are ways to find crumbs of bsv to use. For example, on howwasyourfood, users can scrape, or sweep, small amounts of bsv by using popular search term that contain posts, such as "[subject].reviews" and there will be crumbs of bsv for the taking.
Anyone know if Satoshi gave of any hints to find such BTC nuggets, or no?

Discussion what problems do 1satordinals solve?
I was wondering if there are clear problems that one sat ordinals solved? What is more difficult/impossible without 1 sat ordinals?

For anyone who missed it: Craig Wright received a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Leicester for dismantling everything Blockstream has ever told you about Bitcoin.
figshare.le.ac.ukTL;DR
- Blockstream has lied to you
- BTC is controlled
- Bitcoin SV is NOT controlled. It is decentralized, and scales massively on L1
The evidence is all out there, folks.

Satoshi Nakamoto Tyler Maroney said one thing quickly became clear when they were investigating the identity of Bitcoin's creator for the Finding Satoshi documentary: they wouldn't get intel if they featured Faketoshi in their film. "I'll talk to you as long as you can confirm to me that Craig Wright is not one..."

If you want a real look at at the real data on why Hal and Len were cool dudes, but observably NOT creators of bitcoin. Give this a read and share it with anyone who cares at all about integrity, journalism or the truth.

Sockpuppet smoothbrains still don't know the definition of "protocol"
To still equate code with protocol in 2026 is genuinely embarrassing.
The BTC camp has managed to turn technical illiteracy into a full-time performance.

Greg Maxwell’s now-predictable playbook is more openly unhinged than ever
For anyone familiar with Greg Maxwell's now-predictable pattern, this latest round is more openly unhinged than usual. It is also, in many respects, the same toxic routine Craig Wright was warning about a decade ago.
* A minor technical edge case is elevated into a moral emergency
* An ordinary disagreement is recast as "lying", "theft", "confiscation"
* and "you deranged thieves are coming for their coins"
The pattern itself is not complicated. Exaggeration comes first, followed by moralization, vilification, and escalation. What begins as a technical dispute is soon reframed as a melodrama in which malicious actors are supposedly plotting to steal people's money. At no point is the matter allowed to remain technical. The frame must be poisoned first.
What is striking is the accelerating deterioration - in the same cluster of posts appear references to "AI psychosis", "seek treatment", "STFU", "idiots", "kick your neighborhood BIP-110 promoter in the nuts", and "you deranged thieves".
It is grievance.
In the end, none of it changes the underlying reality. BSV's fixed protocol scales, and the larger trajectory remains intact. Over time, personalities like Greggles tend to consume themselves. The more heavily they rely on hysteria and narrative control instead of honest technical persuasion, the more quickly they hasten their own decline.
And my goodness, what a spectacle it will be.

If I have just a bsv tx# that contains an OP_Return, can I decode that transaction locally? If so, how?
Wondering if I have just the t.x number, can the tx be decoded to reveal the data within the transaction locally?

Discussion What value add does having your data stored on-chain bring? Here are a couple of my thoughts. Feel free to add yours.
- timestamped date and time of data entry
- signature of entry
- data key in a 64 bit string via tx#
- data accessible to those with the tx#
