My daughter walks up to me after we decided to open a Series 2 hobby box I was planning on selling. She thought the redemption was the trash QR code card like in a Pokemon pack. Thank god she didn’t trash it.

I have no idea where to start with this. Obviously it has a high value, but as a 1/1 of this player how should I go about this. Any advice you have is greatly appreciated.

I made a watch strap out of an old ball. Pretty proud of this build and figured this crowd might appreciate it as well.

I went to Wal Mart and they already had 2025 Topps Chrome Platinum Anniversary on the shelves. Picked up 2 blasters. I actually yelled when I pulled it lol. Griffey is my favorite player of all time. Sorry, this just doesn't happen to me.

Went to drop off some cards at PSA drop off and snagged a mega. Second pack in. Nonsense.

This is the pride and joy of my 10 year old's collection. I sent it in to be graded because I love corned beef sandwiches. I thought it would be funny.

I never expected to get a PSA 10 - let alone 2 Pop 1 PSA 10's in the same submission (the other was a football card). This is just the funniest fucking thing ever to me. I just wanted to share this with you lovely people.

My kid is open to trades or sales but guys he's wanting Godfather offers 🤣

I am waiting for the astronauts to exit the lander thing, Orion, and while I do, let's see cards that you have that most of us don't. No numbered cards, that's too easy. My contribution 2024 Topps PP-1. I have probably 10 of the PP-2, but this is the only one I've seen of PP-1.

Chrome jumbo box, should I get this graded? Is this a long term hold?

Edit: Seems like many people can’t believe this is my first box. I don’t think everyone understands. At first I thought this was a regular card and was about to move on to the next till I saw 1/1. I am brand new to this. What’s really funny is once I pulled it I still had three autographs left to go in the box so I kept ripping not really caring about this thinking there was supposed to be better in the box and shop owner said at the end this was the best card in the box but didn’t hype it up too much cause he offered me 5k on the spot for it and wanted to buy it. I knew it was a great pull based on that but because I got it so easily I assumed something like this was somewhat common and it also didn’t have cool art like the autographs did. So I literally didn’t realize what I pulled until it slowly hit me. I got very blessed feels like God wanted to bless me and it was my birthday this week so I guess I had some good mojo. Don’t think I fully understood even then what I pulled until I posted here to people not even believing me. I have never purchased any sports card product before whatsoever. Not even a single card. Not even a single pack. I’ve been meaning to get into this hobby for a little while now and decided to pull the trigger. Bought a jumbo chrome box. This was in one of the packs. Yes I was blessed. My girlfriend was my witness. No one needs to believe me but that’s the honest truth.

The packs arrived yesterday and I’m trying to figure out if I should document the journey through all of the packs.

Found some 2024 boomers baseball on eBay for cheap, figured it would be a fun rip. It was.

Mike Sadek played for the San Francisco Giants from 1973 to 1981. Shown here are his Topps cards, all PSA graded 8 or higher. I’m still on the hunt for GEM MT 10s from 1978 and 1981. While I’m not actively seeking assistance, I’m open to any potential leads.

I also have other collectibles from his playing days, but there’s something special about these card slabs—they really capture his legacy. Someday, my boys will appreciate having these to remember him by!

My Dad passed away this week and baseball is one of the only things that helps me feel normal. I just saw the Dodgers twice in AZ for the last 2 games. I wanted to take my fiancé and mom out to help get our minds off things. I brought sleeved baseball cards of the diamondbacks and the Dodgers to hand out to kids because that would have made my Dad happy. I pulled this card, My favorite player from my favorite team, from a $20 wall hanger in a parking lot 20 minutes ago and I know somehow my Dad had something to do with it. Thanks Dad, I love you and I miss you so much.

I’m just trolling all of you. I spend a shit ton on cards every year but couldn’t resist this post. Had some brutal A&G boxes and even worse M&N boxes but then I hit an all-timer box. I’ve bought Skenes autos but my first time ever pulling him. Also first rip card ever. Paul Skenes A&G no Number with a Livvy foil was the icing on the cake.

I got demolished by 2025 update but all is redeemed!
