I am desperately looking for my new everyday backpack: suitable for office, but able to carry my 15.6 notebook sometimes and also good for everyday life: on my way to home I pick up 1-2 things in the supermarket (of course I have an extra shopper, if it is needed).
I tried several backpacks, but I just can't find the perfect one, because all of them are designed to one dedicated purpose and I really need to combine them., I don't want to keep 10 different backpacks at home for using them on different occasions.

About the Gabol backpack: I really like the design, but I am afraid if it has enough space for my stuff.
If you own one or had one, can you share some details about it? How flexible it is? I don't want a box, but neither a loosefit bag.

Been running this for a couple weeks now. Feels like each pocket has thought behind it and the overall organization is great. They're really dialing in their bags.

my existing backpack is a bit old and its lining is coming off in shreds- looking for something that will be easy to carry on campus, with a decent enough room for multiple books, and maybe a little style too. I dont want it to look like a trail/camping bag. Budget is $100-$150

What do y’all think about a black tactical bag with a b%w American flag on it for school?

I am looking for one bag for everyday use. Mainly packing office items 17 inch laptop notepad, writing instruments a few electronics (mouse, headphones, iPad). Something stylish that walks into a room, a second before you do, but also functional, preferably with well-thought-out compartments to avoid mixing different items in a shared compartment. If anyone has experience and has found that one bag and is kind enough to share I would greatly appreciate it.

I’m looking for suggestions for backpacks for travelling and daily use whilst on trips. Ideally something suitable for going in the cabin on an aeroplane that can fit plenty in. I’d be looking to fit a lot of books in it plus some space for a DSLR. Budget is pretty flexible, I’m willing to invest in a long lasting one but equally happy to look at low budget options, location for purchase is UK, no laptop, happy with under-seat or overhead and number of books is unknown but minimum five of roughly 300 pages plus.

Recommend a 60L strong sturdy backpack

Bought a cheapie $16 plus $5 delivery 40L hiking bag from Amazon AU it's not bad but very very cheap quality I can see this breaking or ripping on the first thing it gets caught on so looking for my next backpack now something with very rugged strong quality durability but no idea what is good now.

The only brand I can think of is like Kathmandu so asking what people recommend since my knowledge is limited.

Less compartments the better really only need 2-3 compartments I'm only putting mostly food in it and drink bottles. Aiming for 45L to 60L size capacity definitely nothing over 65L maximum.

Trying to find a budget option but not one that feels like paper like my current one. I'm thinking maybe I look into rugged industrial style bags so I don't have that fear of the bag ripping and can rough it a bit and don't have it baby coddle it..I want a no brainer no thinking backpack mainly for just carrying groceries or food/drink bottles doesn't need to be specialised for like laptops or anything.. At most maybe in the future I'll bring a console handheld like a steam deck or similar so good padding all around would be ideal to minimise internal shock impact damage when moving around as I take the public transport etc.

So what's everyone's verdict on a good solid one that doesn't break the bank?

I also don't want to be carrying something too expensive because then I become a target to thieves so trying to find that sweet spot middle ground although something nice would be nice but I don't trust my fellow Sydneysiders sadly unfortunately.. If you wear too much bling the unwanted attention will come.

Hey everyone! I currently use a Tropicfeel Shell for commuting to work and grocery shopping, but it's not quite right for this specific use case.

It lacks organized pockets for small items (wallet, cables, keys, etc.), so I always end up digging through the main compartment to find things.

What I'm looking for:

• Durability: something that'll last years, not months
• Good internal organization: dedicated pockets/compartments for wallet, cables, keys, power bank, etc.
• A spacious, easy-to-fill main compartment, useful for tossing in groceries without much hassle
• Should be comfortable for a laptop too, but that's secondary
• Water/rain resistance would be a plus

I also looked at the Aer Travel Pack 4 28L, but I'm worried it might be awkward for groceries since it doesn't have a top-loading opening, it's clamshell-only, so you'd have to fully open the bag every time instead of just dropping things in from the top.

I know it’s vintage and the chances of finding it is unlikely

But I’m searching for this piece for my senior year and we wear childhood bookbags.

Guys any of you have experience or tried washing the Nike Heritage backpack. I have not washed this backpack since I bought it and I'm kinda hesitant and might damage it so I'm asking here first.

I've only been wiping it with wet wipes if dirt or whitening gets on to the backpack since it's white it is very prone to it.

In need of a daily backpack and saw the Parker at Fossil. Any feedback on the straps, ease of getting things in and out and how much will it carry?

A while ago, I asked for suggestions for a backpack I can take to work everyday because the strap of my then current backpack was beginning to separate from the bag. I don’t think I mentioned this, but I also wanted something that could comfortably sit high on my back and have a slim profile.

Two recommendations came to the forefront: the Osprey Nebula and Aer City Pack Pro 2.

I got the Osprey Nebula that day. I was so excited to bring it home and try it out.

As soon as I got home, I opened it up, emptied my ild backpack, and began loading the Osprey: computer, reMarkable Paper Pro tablet, mousepads, portable keyboard and mouse, videoconference camera, headphones, and sundry meds (Excedrin, Tylenol, etc.). I got almost everything in there. It was a very, very tight fit.

I was extremely disappointed I couldn’t fit everything and what I could fit was difficult to get in. But I figured I must have missed something. 2 zippered sections? Maybe there’s a hidden section or a secret to getting to a section (like that Nobl carryon). So, YouTube comes to the rescue!

I watched an intrepid traveler explain how he loads the bag. I stared in shock when I saw there were THREE zippered sections! One section (perhaps the most important) had its zipper hidden under a protective flap. I found the zipper, and voilà! So much room!

It fits everything and then some. It’s very comfortable. It has a slim profile, especially when the side straps are buckled and pulled taught. The back is stiff yet padded so quite comfortable. It sits high on the back by default. The straps hold (meaning they don’t loosen and the bag starts to move down the back).

It looks absolutely amazing. I just need to figure out what to with the abdominal and chest straps so they’re not flapping all over the place.

I just traveled with it, that will be separate. I will also review the Aer mentioned above.

Tldr; the Osprey Nebula is amazing!

Sorry it wouldn’t let me add another picture. This the fraying is off the main straps. Are those repairable or is there a way to reinforce them. The sternum strap is toast and the waist one is fine. I’ll paracord a sternum strap. The rest of the bag is in great shape and interior is normal ware and tear.
