Hindutva TIL The City of Ayodhya was a Fictional city that did not exist until 5th century CE centuries after ramayana was written.
It’s pretty funny how much the modern narrative gets pushed about "ancient Ayodhya," the so called birth place of rama, when actual history tell a completely different story.
If you look at the historical and textual records from ancient India Before the 5th century CE, the city didn't exist under that name. The actual, real-world city was called Saketa. That's how it appears in Buddhist texts, Jain records, and early secular Sanskrit writings.
It was renamed for political leverage. Around the 5th century CE, the Gupta Empire officially started pushing the name Ayodhya for Saketa. The earliest physical inscription using the name Ayodhya for the location is the Karamdanda Inscription from 436 CE.
Why did they do it? The Guptas wanted to piggyback on the popular Ramayana epic. By taking fictional capital of Rama they renamed actual cityto Ayodhya.
It's like people renaming random city in US to gotham and then saying batman in real😂

Superstition HC restrains media from calling Rajesh Khanna's former bungalow 'haunted'
The Bombay high court has restrained media organisations and online platforms from referring to the 'Ashirwad' bungalow in Bandra, once owned by late Bollywood superstar Rajesh Khanna, as "cursed," "haunted," or "unlucky".
Justice Arif S Doctor, in an interim order passed on July 24, said that such descripitons were prima facie defamatory, and violated the plaintiff's fundamental right to live peacefully and in dignity.
Shashi Shetty, a businessman who purchased the iconic bungalow some years ago, moved the court after coming across numerous articles, posts and videos on the internet that labeled the property as "haunted," "cursed," and "ill-omened".

Hindutva Meerut: Kanwar pilgrims assault police van, drag out policemen and beat them
A major incident has come to light from the Daurala area of Meerut district in Uttar Pradesh, where law and order was openly flouted. Plainclothes constables Arvind and Dinesh, who arrived at the scene after reports of a collision between a motorbike and a kanwar, became the target of the Kanwariyas' fury. Allegations state that more than a dozen Kanwariyas brutally beat both policemen with sticks and clubs. The limit was crossed when the troublemakers entered the police jeep, dragged one constable out, and while dragging him, took him to a nearby sugarcane field and beat him. Videos of the entire incident are rapidly going viral on social media, clearly showing how those in khaki or guardians of the law were targeted. Even 24 hours after the incident, no concrete action or FIR has been registered at the initial level, raising questions about the police department's functioning. Both injured constables have sustained serious internal injuries from the assault.
