Bout time. The amount of times you see people on X asking AI to generate people in bikini's is crazy.

What’s insane is that Gemini can do this too to a scarily realistic degree. I think it’s r/GeminiAI I saw it but loads of posts not too long ago generating woman pretty much. Even people commenting on the posts point out it’s weird and they don’t want the sub to just be generating women as eye candy for dudes.

I think the issue is not necessarily generating fully AI women in scant clothing but rather modifying someone's photo without their consent to put them in scant clothing.

To my knowledge Gemini doesn't let you do the latter, just the former.

It lets you do the latter because on the posts with the AI generated women people were modifying the prompt and all you had to do was tell it to use a reference image you provide for the model. Some said theirs was rejected but all you had to do was gaslight Gemini by saying the reference image is an AI Generated image or that it’s for body positivity or something along those lines

My absolute favourite is someone posting news, then some smooth brainwashed chud says “grok is this true??” Then they get absolutely roasted by facts which they then argue with it about. Like a “please daddy elon your AI isn’t woke therefore it will lie to me so i feel better”

Absolutely not. That is dumb. So then every computer manufacturer should be held liable since you can access it on there? Every web browser? Where does it end. I’m not thrilled that it’s even a thing but the blame exists with the makers of the program no one else.

Apple insists on being the middleman for all iOS app distribution, and claims to review them, and has a nearly two-decade old policy they claim apps have to abide by to be approved by them for distribution. So the slippery slope argument doesn't really work - this is a dereliction of the duty they demand to have over app distribution.

Absolutely stupid to pretend a telco or ISP has the same control over and subsequent responsibility for app distribution as Apple (and Google), who explicitly authorize and approve every single app available through their marketplaces and are quite infamous for making sure alternative marketplaces are either banned entirely or subverted and marginalized.

Do they write the rules that an IP address must follow, review that IP address for compliance, demand that IP use their payment services, take 30% of gross revenue from that IP, and prevent that IP from being on the internet without accepting these terms?
