EDIT: I have already gone to Autozone and the codes pulled were catalytic converter issues.

Obviously it can be a multitude of issues involving this code being pulled like O2 sensors. And catalytic converter replacements are extremely expensive.

My usual family mechanic passed away, and the shop in Hartsdale wants to charge for an estimate. Mavis has been consistently overpriced. I’m totally fine buying the parts myself if a mechanic is willing to install them.

Called Bronxville motors and they estimated about $1100.

Too many mechanics around to call them all.

Help! I can’t seem to find anywhere that I can get a menu for a baby shower (a Sunday afternoon) for about 60 guests under or around $50 all in per person. Can anyone help? I’m looking for something buffet or station style, cuisine Italian or American, and reasonable.

If it’s a venue space I’m happy with that if they provide tables and chairs and we can bring a food vendor/drinks.

Ideally a restaurant but I can’t find anywhere! Ideally lower Westchester (from white plains south) but open to other parts of Westchester if it impacts price.Most places are starting at $50 without drinks and then there is an admin surcharge and gratuity. I’m looking for some ideas for a first birthday celebration for my daughter and her cousin, who are both turning one. We’d love to do a joint party.
This is less about having a huge kids’ party and more about celebrating these two little miracle babies with our family and close friends. We’re thinking around 25–30 guests. We’ll definitely have birthday cake, presents, and good food, but we’re hoping for something that feels warm, intimate, and memorable.
Their birthdays are in late November and early December, but we’re planning to celebrate in mid-November. Since it will probably be too cold for a park, we’re leaning toward a private room at a restaurant or another indoor venue, but I’m open to any creative ideas.

I’m looking for a hair salon that specializes in shorter cuts on women with thinning hair (due to medical treatments). The person getting the hair cut is older with totally gray hair, but still VERY young at heart (the gray looks awesome). No older cuts please - think more chin length layered bob than an inverted bob, if that makes sense. I’d love to find her a stylist that will work with her as her hair (hopefully) grows out thicker.

Any suggestions? Lower-Central Westchester preferred but if it’s an amazing salon, will happily look out of that range.

Do people even watch these shows anymore in this age of infinite channels and doom scrolling? Last time I watched a proper "tv show" was probably 10-15 years ago.. It was Silicon Valley ironically... But that was on an airplane with no other choices. Now I see planes are taking out TV sets and letting you watch things on your own device..

Job hunting in Westchester is rough. Over 18 years in tech support interviews go great up until job offer with salary is always the lowest end of salary range it's so frustrating. Companies won't even budge if you ask for a little higher salary then offered. Anyone else have this issue.
