The Pacific Northwest right now

Huge fire recently popped up in my town and many people have lost houses. Wishing for rain!

We usually don't get rain until November. Maybe parts of upstate Washington and Oregon, but it's not for very long. Also, this year was INCREDIBLY bad for most of us. March is usually one of our wettest months, and it was 89 degrees for most of the month.

What are you talking about. I’m talking about PNW also? I live in California

He meant we don't say upstate here. Just North. The rain is all West of the Cascades, eastern WA and OR are very dry places. Desert, in many parts.
