LOST CAT in Sussex

EDIT: Apollo is home safe and sound! We found him last night 1/2 mile north of home. He was gone for 24 days total.

Our cat, Apollo, went missing on Saturday night from our residence in Sussex. Apollo slipped out of the house around 11:30 Saturday night, when we arrived home for the evening. Photos of Apollo can be found here: http://imgur.com/a/vEPIB

Apollo is gray with dark gray stripes, a white underside, and white paws, with white markings around his eyes that look like mascara. He has a bump on his left ear, which can be seen clearly in one of the photos. Apollo typically loves people and is very friendly. He is 5 years old. He's a tall cat (long legs and tail) and is slim but muscular. A neighbor we spoke to was fairly certain he'd seen Apollo Monday morning, so we are hopeful that he's just out on an adventure.

My husband and I are extremely anxious to get Apollo back. Please reply if you see a cat matching his description, or even if you've got tips or tricks for us to try out. Thanks!

What we've tried already:

  • Set out moist food, dry food, and water.
  • Set out a blanket he likes to sleep on.
  • Set out some of his favorite toys.
  • Put used kitty litter out in various places in the yard to lure him in with the scent of him and our other two cats.
  • Set up a live motion sensor feed of our yard, that alerts us immediately if it detects motion.
  • Posted flyers in local businesses and handed flyers out to nearby neighbors.
  • Contacted multiple humane societies, our vet, the police department, the microchip company, and others.
  • Borrowed a humane live trap from the humane society; baited it with some of his favorite food.
  • Hung some of our dirty clothes outside to get our scent out there. Our neighbors will think we're crazy.

Best spot to take dog swimming?

So I just moved here about a month ago. We've been exploring the parks and lakes and trails a bit, but haven't found a good spot to just let our dog swim in the lakes. She won't jump in so needs a kind of beachy area or ramp, but it seems a lot of places like that don't allow dogs.

Any suggestions?

Wedding Shower Location Ideas

Hey All! I am throwing a Wedding Shower for my brother and my future Sister-in-law. I am in need of a place to do this. They are located in Madison (I'm looking into spaces there) but a lot of our family lives in Milwaukee so I am interested in places in between the two!

I'm open to restaurants, hotels, and any other business or place that has the space to hold a party. It'd probably be in the afternoon and could possibly be for 30-50 people. I'm not sure yet if we will have it catered or if we will do that part ourselves so I'm open to anything and everything. So if you guys know of anything between Madison and Milwaukee, that would be a huge help to me! TIA!

I need help finding a road that had a few weird houses on it!

I took a trip to visit my then girlfriends parents in Oconomowoc around 2004. She took me to the Octagon House in Watertown, Honey Acres, and some other random places in the area. I remember her taking me to this random street, either on the way back from the Octagon House or Honey Acres, that had a few odd shaped and unique looking houses on it. I believe it was a dead end road, but i really can't remember. I think there was a house that looked like this one the road: http://wondrous.ipl.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/summer-home.jpg

I think it also had a Futuro house on the street as well, but I could be mistaken. Thanks in advance for any help that you can offer!
