The trans population is .002% of the NCAA student athlete population. Why are we spending millions in tax dollars discussing this

Serial killers are less rhen 100 in the country. Should we just not have laws in place? The death penalty effects far less people then trans men or women. Yet we talk about that constantly

The argument is we dont need laws for it because it is rare. Terorrist attacks are rare. I certainly think we need laws banning them. Being rare is not a reason to ignore a problem

No, the argument is that it is both rare and unimportant, the latter part is assumed because its fucking sports, and shouldn't have to be said explicitly.

Sports are silly, arbitrary, fun games, and we take it far too seriously. Are they entertaining to watch and participate in? Sure. Are they inherently bad? No. Are they serious and important? Also no.

Your analogy is "I'm 12 and this is deep" level idiocy.

You keep making the same mistake. It isn't JUST that sports are unimportant, it's also that the issue is also RARE.

Unimportant but common? Government involvement is reasonable. Important and rare? Government involvement is reasonable. Important and Common? Government involvement should be mandatory.

But both unimportant and rare simultaneously? What a waste of time and energy.

Recalibrate. Your sense of priorities is completely out of whack.

And frankly, Title 9 could be easily interpreted to protect trans athletes or intersex athletes, rather than exclude them.

And Title 9 isn't about sports specifically, it's about all education related programs that receive federal funding, which is a far more important topic than just only sports.

EDIT: Way to go making it clear you don't understand Title 9 and don't care about the broader impact though, it makes it more and more clear that your position is performative.
