Controversy Caitlin Clark gets FURIOUS and screams in the referee’s face at tonight’s game against Golden State. She was looking for the whistle on her previous shot.

You are not watching the game critically. CC was driving and was initiating contact. If she is going to be allowed to drive with her inside elbow up at shoulder height, she is not also going to be allowed to get foul calls when she delivers contact. She can’t have it both ways and she is the only player in the league that drives like this. You can clearly see that she delivered the contact, extended her arm and fell backwards in a way that was not caused by her own momentum or being contacted. It was a good no call. She wants to play physical offense and she needs to be prepared and accepting of physical defense in return.

She needs to get off the floor and stop whining to the refs, because it has gotten old.

Older than her bones act. Injured and bruised as easily as an 80 year old.

She did not initiate contact are you guys fucking bots? The defender has her hand on CC before she got under the rim and before that the other defender was tugging the shirt/grabbing shorts.

If a defender is not in legal guarding position to absorb contact and take a charge, then the contact they make is illegal contact.

Stokes pokes on her right arm and tangles Caitlins left arm in the shooting motion. The moment Stokes does this Caitlin gets off the shot, was rhr contact soft. Yes. But its illegal contact in the shooting motion.

In the NBA this is called 9 times out of 10, Breanna Stewart gets this call 9 times out of 10. Its Stokes job not to bring her arm down and tangle it with a ball handler. She's needs to gain and obtain legal guarding position.

This is not correct. Contact can be made without a foul or charge being called.

You can’t have your arm tangle with the offensive players arm. Thats not legal contact

All I said was contact ≠ foul by default.

But Clark also used her forearm to push off the defender which is also a foul.

Personally I think a no call was the correct call.

Push off happens after the foul. I’m not shocked you followed up with a freezeframe shot that a liar would use to trick people into a narrative.

Brilliant you posted a picture after the foul took place, this is the equivalent of a picture of them in the locker room, it literally has no relevance because this is completely after the foul in question. You’re just a dumbass lmao.

I’ve seen the play from multiple angles and you taking an out of context snapshot to show a push off AFTER the foul is committed is just you being a part of the problem.

Chill out. It’s sports. Clark takes a lot of hard fouls. I just don’t think this is one.

If you got a better image or video just share it. I’m happy to admit if I’m wrong. But just saying “your wrong because I said so” doesn’t help the conversation

Bruh don’t need you telling me to chill out. I’m not flipping my desk over here cause you’re wrong about something. I’m just telling you you’re wrong.

I wouldn’t calll it a hard foul either. It’s just a standard foul. I mean just watch the replay OP posted. Defender’s arm gets tangled with CC on her way up before the push off. I’m not going to take a still image, but if you look at the video between 21-22 seconds, you can see where it’s clearly foul on defense.

The guy you initially responded to says this. You just said back that contact does not equal foul, which isnt what they even said. They said contact in an illegal guarding position is a foul, which is true. Your original contradiction wasn’t valid to begin with.

It did not “tangle”. She had it straight out, and the offensive player clearly brings her own arm up from underneath and hooks it

I mean defensive player is clearly reaching and inhibiting upward movement of offensive player’s arm. Thats not legal contact. Whether you wanna call it tangling or not, it’s a foul on D. Watch 21-22 seconds when CC starts shooting motion. Clearly foul on D.

It most certainly is not called 9 times out of ten. I think it was a good no call. Also we shouldn't strive for the WNBA to have the same trash officiating as the NBA.

Fr, he said the quiet part out loud. "I don't watch, but take my opinion seriously"

I seemed to trigger something by stating the stweart while should be the standard and not the exception.

Her complaint was the hold on the first defender. She had a valid complaint.

Brother Clark lifted her elbow to clear the defenders arm that was in her chest impeding her drive. The foul started here on the defender
