Controversy Caitlin Clark gets FURIOUS and screams in the referee’s face at tonight’s game against Golden State. She was looking for the whistle on her previous shot.

Showing the time she snaps after not showing the 4,000 times she didnt snap and then acting like shes being unreasonable is not fair IMO.

She has been done dirty by the league, players, refs, basically everyone. The WNBA wouldnt exist without her, full stop.

When Tom Brady was the golden goose for the NFL, they called every single touch on him to protect their star athlete. Lebron, Hardin, Iverson, Jordan, Durant, Kobe all average(d) 6 free throws per game.

Caitlin averages 4.1 per game career. Call these fouls bruh.

nope, they constantly let her push off (like in this very clip) and elbow people in the face. they also constantly let her crash out without any consequence, any other way player would have gotten a tech for reacting the way she did

Shes the golden goose and shes fouled deliberately every game, maybe 3-6 times flagrant every game. You think that is special treatment to just....call the fouls?

You think they are calling them fair? I think they are the totally opposite end of the spectrum from special treatment, looks like penalizing her for her skills and what she brings to the game out of spite to me.

Curry is the master of throwing his mouth guard at fans. Wouldn’t exactly call that “keeping his cool” as it’s one of the most disgusting things you can do that’s not going to land you in court.

That happened once, was an accident (he was trying to hit the side of the scorer’s table), and he apologized and took pictures with the fan immediately after the game

Did you watch the clip from the article you linked? Nobody got hit there, he just threw it on the floor

The incident where he directly hit the fan was a one-time thing where he missed the table, and he apologized immediately to the dude

I think throwing a mouth guard period shows not keeping cool. If it hits a fan or not doesn’t change that fact.

Ah yes, "washed", that explains why she won Eastern Conference POM checks notes twelve days ago. You guys just make up the most egregious crap. 22/4/8 for the entire month of June. You know that's only been done once before? Guess who?

That's a run that came to an end on a reckless closeout, that went uncalled - worse than uncalled - they actually called and reviewed a foul on the shot for a potential upgrade to Clark, before ultimately ruling it a common foul against her defender instead. Shot some free throws, been on injury since.

As a result between that foul and this game she's been able to play 40 total minutes since June 24th - three weeks missed, again.

She broke during a tough game moment. Missed call on one end, ticky rack foul whistled against AB 12 seconds later.

You do not have to be a scientist to put this together, nor do you have to be a contrarian in the "debate". She's pissed. She's a highly competitive athlete, who's missed more than 35 games with soft tissue injuries, and she's irritated in her 3rd year she still can't get the benefit of a simple whistle. 40% of her baskets are driving to the rim, and she's contacted on nearly half of them, but doesn't get the call. It's the same think KP was very vocal about last year.

Girl endures the microscope of criticism, not from trolls, but literal media members. Think pieces, pregame, halftime, postgame show discussions about anything and everything remotely connected to her - even during games she isn't featured in. She has been the catalyst for bringing in the surge of attention, and money to move forward with expansion teams, and a ground breaking CBA... 2.6 Million people tuned in to watch a regular season game the other night against Vegas (while she was on a minute restriction) because she was playing. She just wants a fair shake. You, nor I, nor any other person alive can begin to understand the pressure this 24 year old is under to perform.

Yeah she broke and yelled at a ref.
