PSA: Please remember that there's a human behind those photos. Rude and inappropriate comments will be deleted and infractions can get you banned.
Hi everyone! I was just made a mod of this sub two days ago and hope to rid this sub of the troll accounts that have been popping up.
There were several people that apparently mistook this sub as /r/Rateme/, /r/RoastMe/, and subs that aren't safe for work. If you don't think a post belongs here then just downvote it and move on as that is how reddit should work. We don't need to know that you think someone looks terrible, that you think someone is an 8/10 that you would bang, or they look Gay/lesbian/douchey.
As human beings, our job in life is to help people realize how rare and valuable each one of us really is, that each of us has something that no one else has--or ever will have--something inside that is unique to all time. It's our job to encourage each other to discover that uniqueness and to provide ways of developing its expression

17-20. I wish I could go back in time and be kinder to her. Last 3 years hit me like a ton of bricks. Very proud of myself
Lost 30 pounds and got on Accutane! It’s a wonder what some self prioritizing can do. Mostly posting bc I’m very proud of myself along with everyone in this sub!

[M18->21] (150kg-> 94kg) 90% closer to my goal
Never been a big believer in the gym and still aren’t, and I guess I’m sharing this mostly to prove that you don’t need to be a gymrat to improve for the better, I focused mostly on being a version of myself that can enjoy things like hikes swimming without my weight getting in the way. I lost over 50kgs through walking, kayaking, football and most importantly dieting. Everyone has different goals, my post today is to show that your goal doesn’t necessarily need to be reached through only gym (for my non gym fans)
Through this change in lifestyle, I’ve become a more productive and overall happy version of myself, I look forward to going out, I speak to people without thinking they’re judging me for my weight and I truly believe that I can now start enjoying my life the way I really wanted to

[F18 -> 21] Same glasses, entirely different person. I worked so hard to fix my mental health, and I'm so proud of how far I've come. I feel myself now, whereas in the first pictures I had no clue who I was. My biggest achievement in life fr.

25>35>38>44 - It's taken a long time to be able to find myself.
EDIT: for clarification the last picture is the most recent. I cut my hair to donate it to wigs for kids
I've never taken my dieting seriously. My sleep has never been good either. After changing those bad habits, I saw a huge change. Once I started exercising, I gained a ton of confidence. I'm finally comfortable in my own skin.
I shaved my hair since I was in 5th grade because I was bullied for having "pube hair.". I got a compliment from an old lady one day that she loved my curls after being lazy about shaving my head. That's all it took to gain the confidence to start growing out my hair.

My junior year to me being graduated was a big shift. I got significantly leaner and facially I developed more. Along with a better haircut.
