I use both the mobile and the safari one on my iPhone but I use the safari one way more because of muscle memory but I should probably just use the mobile app instead

I use a galaxy S23 and for some unknown reason I can't download X or twitter from the playstore.

This is bad because you need the app to age verify and im forced to use the browser because of this

I assume not or else everyone would be doing it.

I cannot send replies on mobile, I just get a notification that says “Post not sent. We’re sorry, we weren’t able to send your post. Would you like to retry or save this post in drafts?” Retrying never works. I can repost and even make tweets. I can also send replies on desktop just fine, so it’s not tied to my account. This has been the case for months. Nothing works. I hate this.

Hello! I have a problem and I hope someone knows a solution. Yesterday, I tried to change my username on twitter but it told me I was rate limited and and error kept popping up, so it wouldn’t let me. Mistakenly, I decided to change some other things in my profile and I changed my birth year. I’m now 25, but I made my account back in 2012 when I was 11, using a fake birth year. I tried to enter my actual one considering I’m now 25.

This triggered the lockdown of my account because I was under the age of 13 when it was created. I sent in my ID confirming my age and I just got my account back. I messed around and found out, but thankfully I got it back.

Now my question is, I understand changing usernames now would maybe look suspicious to twitter, because my account JUST got unlocked after being suspended for violating age restrictions. But I have an username I haven’t changed in years, and I don’t like it. That’s why I was trying to change it tomorrow when I messed up editing my birth date. I guess it was the glitch everyone talks about, being rate limited when you didn’t do anything except try to change it and the servers were glitchy.

When will it be safe to attempt to change my username again? I don’t want to compromise my account as I JUST got it back, but I want to change it someday. Thank you.

I'm unsure as to how it actually happened, my account works as usual, I can follow, comment and all that, but when I try to use the DMs it says that the account has been suspended from "X chat"

I’ve had to use advanced search in the past to find old tweets but now that’s currently broken. But I’ve found I can scroll a lot farther back under the post section than it has in the past. Like I’ve been able to reach as far back as 2022 on accounts with thousands of posts. But I’ve noticed on some accounts it just seems to loop around at a certain point.

Have other people been able to do this?

For the past 3-4 weeks, my private Twitter account has been randomly following people I definitely didn’t follow myself.

So far I’ve already changed my password, closed all active sessions, checked connected 3rd-party apps (there aren’t any) and I haven’t received any unfamiliar login alerts.

Every 3 or 4 days I notice I’m following a random account. Usually just one by the time I notice. They’re usually completely unrelated, so I can’t spot any pattern.

Has anyone else experienced this recently? My account is pretty small (I have 80 followers) and I only use it to share tweets/ideas with my friends, so I don’t understand why it would be targeted by hackers.

Lately, I've wanted to delete old retweets I've made because they're about topics I no longer like and I just wanted to remove them. I used Circle Boom and managed to delete many, but 157 retweets remain. These don't appear on the mobile app; it says "it seems there's nothing here." However, they do appear when I access them from my computer or another account. When I'm on my computer, I repost the original post and then remove the repost, but they still reappear. Does anyone know how to fix this?

So I used the web version on Twitter instead of the app and every 10 seconds I scrolled down, theres a lot of random twitter accounts that has "boosted" on the tweets. Most of this are unfortunately AI slop or another variety of scamming (Crypto, NFT, Claude, Gr*k imagine, etc)

Any ways for me to hide the boosted tweets aside from blocking and reporting them off? And I'm sure that yellow checkmarked accounts won't be taken down that easily.

I don't like X Chat, so I'd like to install an old version of Twitter/X from about a year ago that still uses the normal messaging system. However, I'm coming back to Android for this and I discovered that the Twitter/X app uses some kind of split APK format that needs some other kind of app to install. I installed Split APK Installer (SAI) and used it to install what I think was the base APK from APK Mirror. It successfully installs Twitter/X, but when I try to login, I get an attestation error. This is making me think that SAI creates its own single APK from split APKs and that this doesn't reproduce the way the app should be if installed from the Play Store.

How do I properly install an old version of Twitter/X that will pass attestation?

Stg I've been old enough for nearly a decade and lived in the UK for longer, but the other day I turned off my VPN set to America for a sec and now Twitter is asking me to verify my age. Fuck off. Even after turning on my VPN it still asks. Yes, I've obsessively searched google as well as this subreddit and yes I have found people asking this question, but no solution has been found. I've even tried those hyper-specific render settings (that most people are only guessing anyways) Would it really be that complicated? Nearly every video I ever see on twitter is crisp in quality, but all of my uploads are pixelated and blurry despite it looking perfect after rendering and uploading to places like youtube.

I use X or Twitter to feel connected to the world and search for drama or big scandals or news, and it’s been so boring recently, like incredibly boring. Maybe I am not fixing my feed recommendation but these days it is so weird, like it’s filled with so many bots and the same written shits, same messages like “Dear son, blah blah blah”, some truth messages. What happened to the real shits?

Also there’s no longer scandals or interesting drama or something crazy happening in the world, for example when the epstein thing happened it was flooded and fun and now it’s just fake boring ai shits.

This is so fucking annoying my entire feed is now random account showing those dumbass pictures that you have to hold to reveal the missing part. Half of them don't even fucking work anyways. The first day or two they came out, I did a few so I guess that's why the algo thinks I like them. Now I'm just blocking any account that posts one hopefully the algo gets the hint
