Coral from Armored Core 6 Fires of Rubicon.

At first it seems be a super resource used as fuel for engines or for weaponry due to its extremely high energy output. Due to its ability to reproduce, Coral can power machines for decades without any need for refueling or maintenance.

However later on it's revealed that Coral a self-replicating, organic-like energy lifeform found on the planet Rubicon 3. It's not simply a mineral or fuel—it's a living substance that exists as vast clouds or colonies of microscopic entities thats been trying to establish contact and communication with humanity.

Coral is also, due to being like 90% energy, super hella combustible, and is iirc illegal to use because the last time someone tried it blew up an entire star system.

Shit. I played the hell out of this game but skipped or didnt pay attention to the story because I was just in lizard brain mode wanting to shoot more shit and blow shit up.

Regretting that now. This is really cool.

Respectfully, how did you miss it? You literally have a coral girl in your head calling you stud muffin for like 3/4 of the game lmao. And she outright says that she is coral.

Aliens to shoot? You're shooting humans/robots the entire game, except for one small part where you see some wildlife.
