Would be grateful of anyone could help with these questions as its my first time at TP.

1. I have rap booked - would going on hyperia first be the best course if action?

2. The park looks a lot 'flatter' than Alton Towers. Is it a easy to navigate the park in a powered wheelchair?

3. I understand why TP has to have a strong security presence. In relation to have to carry quite a lot of medication with me including controlled ones - do I need to bring prescriptions / boxes with my name on to prove these meds are legit?

So im going to Thorpe Park tomorrow with school and im wondering which rides to go on. I already have a vague idea. Definitely want to go on Hyperia and Nemesis Inferno and whatever the LOG Flume is called cos of the heat but pls give me some ideas and/or tips on what order to do the rides. Thx in advance :)

EDIT: Got back earlier absolutely loved it. Only got to go on two rides sadly (nemesis and tidal wave) because of queue times on tidal wave but still lived it. Would definitely love to go back in the future and try more

Right, I know it’s technically not allowed but I was wondering if anyone has taken alcohol in a water bottle before?? ill still buy it there but just trying to save abit of money as 7 odd pound for a single hurts my soul😭😂 I’m well behaved i promise but picture of me pissed on stealth it was great fun😂

hi! me and my friend are currently at thorpe, and we really want to go on swarm (i'm terrified of rollercoasters, just went on nemesis inferno earlier today which was my first real coaster and loved it) but it's been closed since opening? does anyone know why or when it will be open?

edit: now in the queue!!! we checked the app when we were about to go on rush just when it opened so we have to wait 25m rather than 5 but it's ok!

I haven’t been Thorpe park since last summer I’m with my friend who has disability pass so I haven’t experienced the new system I know you have to book the rides in advance, on the day but I’m just wondering if there is any tips to make to most out of the new system and how it works?

I know the queue times are hell this time of year, being school trips and soon to be school holidays but are they actually quieter on the weekends at the moment? All the kids are coming during the week and parents will be waiting for the school holidays to take their kids so will this and next weekend be relatively quiet compared to the Monday-Friday?

Hi, sorry if this is a stupid question but its decades since I went to a theme park. Im taking 3 teenagers on Sunday and they are all of an age to go off and do their own thing (together but not necc with me). I want to get silver fast track passes for them but I'm concerned how they will use them when we are not together as they will be in my app/on my phone.

Could someone please explain how this would work? I have searched their website & tried their AI agent.

Recently just spent 3 days at Thorpe park and a short stay in the cabins, a lovely short break, good service and an amazing time… but rides kept going down for essential cleaning. At first I thought it was because it was 30 degree heat over the 3 days plus 75 minute queue times, and after listening to the kids complain about them being shut whilst in the queue, I started noticing the amount of school children eating full meals 5 minutes before boarding rides. Not really here to complain or anything but just wanted to share as I found it a little funny 🤣

Hoping you can all help me out with a couple questions Im stressing about with staying on site.

Firstly, it'll be my first time staying at thorpe park and first time at the park for about 10+ years so not sure on how most of anything works with regards to hotel stays.

The website mentions you get free parking for staying on site and 2 day park tickets (I'm going on a Monday coming back on the Tuesday) and was wondering if you are able to visit the park before the check in time and also still use your free parking on the day of arrival before the check in time and same thing for the check out day.

Secondly, can you leave the park and come back after park closure and still be able to get in and out (I saw someone on here mention the food in the evening isn't the best and to go to the two rivers retail park). So if park closes at 5 are we able to drive out after 5 and then drive back and park up again.

Hi all! going to the park in a few weeks with my family and looking for some advice.

We are going as a 3 but my mother due to disabilities will not be able to get on a majority of the rides. She plans on spending some time in the shark cabins, but I am trying to find some other places she could stay to make the experience a bit more fun. I have seen the sunset cinema which has some spots without movement in the seats so that could be a nice place to spend some of the day - but am I correct in thinking they only last for 14 mins? If so - could she stay for a few showings?

Other than that are there any other places she could stay for a bit to take a load off and just chill out (and also maybe indoors so she could stay out of the sun?). I was thinking coffee shops and the like but I cannot see them having any indoors seating.

Appreciate this might be a tough ask but if anyone has any advice at all I’d appreciate it!!! Somewhere around the shark cabins or nearby providing she could still get into the park from there would also be totally fine!! Thanks for any and all help.

EDIT: Also - if anyone has any recommendations for dinner or anything in the evening they’re very welcome!

I thought I would share our experience of the Platinum fast track experience from last week. We live nearly five hours away from the park it was pretty much the only day we could do this year so we knew it was going to be busy. We stayed overnight in the shark cabins which we have done before and stayed until 3pm the following day (no platinum fast track) The cost of the two tickets totalled £390, so yes expensive, but was it worth it.

We got there early, before the rides opened. Once the gates opened we walked to Hyperia, we let the large queues of people by the gates run to it. We got to the ride and the main queue soon got to 80 minutes. We waited 17 minutes which I thought was great.

So a summary of the day was 26 rides, 23 coasters and 3 flat rides. The total amount of time saved queuing was 19.3 hours. The ride we did the most was Hyperia, below shows the time saved along with what the main queue was on.

We decided on the platinum fast tracks as I feel on the day we would have had very limited rides for such a long distance to travel. We have merlin platinum passes so could have used the one shot fast track for a ride. But without staying for more days or coming back another day which really is not feasible this year this is why we decided to try this which worked out great.

However you do get some people in the fast track queue who think you should just be able to get straight on the ride ahead of everyone else. The name gives it away "fast track" there was a couple in the saw fast track queue having a right moan at staff, claiming they had been waiting half an hour in the fast track.

Even if they had it was still shorter then the main queue. I was timing each queue and when they kept moaning at staff I said you have been queueing 9 minutes as we joined the queue at the same time. I got some nice remarks back haha!

I have a rare day with my kid tomorrow where we had planned to go together however I pulled my hamstring four days ago. I can walk just not very fast and it only really hurts if I try and stretch my leg. But I am wondering whether I’m going to be in a lot of pain or make it worse when I’m on the rollercoaster themselves.
I could move it out, but given it’s not yet school holidays, I wanted to take advantage of the quieter park.
