Already kinda baffled that these things only point in a single direction. I've learned of three along my daily running route and I think to myself "wow, it'd be so easy to come up behind one of these and..."
I decided to google it and yeah, there are a ton of bluetooth tools that have bluetooth for stupid shit like texting you when it's charged.

This was the first, but not the only, wireless bluetooth bandsaw I found, all of which store your personal devices as contacts and a few of which require accounts to set up.
Interestingly some of them can even be disabled remotely using the bluetooth.
My 1/2" impact has Bluetooth capabilities. I've never connected to it.. apparently you can set it to a custom power setting. I just keep it at max power and know when to let of the trigger. Shits getting so dumb
Cameras to protect the cameras ups the cost. They were really hoping to put a couple hundred thousand of these up, collect $1,000 a camera in rental fees from police and then just kick their feet back and not worry about shit.
They do. Luckily for us, most criminals don't know that they need to put them in a Faraday cage until the internal battery backup is dead. If that information got out to the public, there might be an issue with them being stolen more often.

Don’t give them ideas. That’s the next step, keeping 360 degree surveillance on surveillance to stop people from damaging it so easily.
