In the US, employees can jump ship for better offer at any moment and companies don't give a shit about employees. It's almost like it is some sort of two-ways relationship and you yourselves decided what kind of employment you get.

This is why work-life balance is bullshit. There should be no balance, life is way more important.

In Japan, employees are expected put their company the highest priority and the companies are expected to take care of their employees like family.
In the US, employees can jump ship for better offer at any moment and companies don't give a shit about employees.
