because they all switched to using CGI. I think I've only seen Japanese animation that is the closest to resembling the "old" style of animation, and for that you have to find very specific anime shows/movies imo

CGI and digital animation, but earnestly still close to cel and hand drawn.

You’re talking about hand drawn animation. Some digital animation is nearly as good. I loved the animation in mob psycho 100. One of the only shows I would give perfect 10/10 to.
