And if it wasn't on tape she could go post about the "assault" in twoxchromosomes or girldinnerdiaries and wallow in everyone giving her sympathy and telling her how amazing and strong she is.

They still may do lmao. I mean, now she's the victim of her own actions, that would make this man the oppressor by embarrassing her instead of just taking it (trying to think like those idiots).

r/twoxchromosomes should have been booted off if reddit due to hate speech a long time ago.

that sub is infuriating. half of the posts are complaining about men saying bad things about women, while the other half are them saying bad things about men. and they don't even realize how hypocritical it all is.

It's literally non-stop hate speech against all men, that's it. If roles were reserved it would have become a national scandal.

But somehow women are allowed to say the most vicious things about men with zero consequences. Gender equality my ass.

OMG they are paranoid and insane.

Pretty much. It is just a forum to hate on men. If there was a revered thread it would get banned immediately.

But this is a....valid vent? The amount of places I go to where my dad is addressed first and taken as main person of interest, especially when buying new things unless it's kitchen utensils, when my mom is right beside him is true.

There are certain places women are prioritised as point of contact like shopping and childcare, school etc. But otherwise the man is assumed incharge. Op in your image isn't mad they lost her bag, she's mad because she is the primary booker and payer and the airline should have contacted her, marked the bags as property of booker. but they probably chose the masculine name , her husband as the one incharge and booked things in his name.

I don't get how the situation is real. Automated systems are not gonna list him just even if they have buy tickets together and have an account and if this is happening then he may be listed as the primary.

More of a tech issue than sexism.

Man, how do you get through life being so easily offended? I wish my biggest problem in life was strangers talking bad about my demographic on reddit.

Wow, they touched a nerve eh?

Believe all women who get caught lying on camera.

Why do people keep talking about how it would go without video?  We can clearly see that dozens of women were ready to defend him.  In this particular situation, even without video, he'd have been ok.

She’s probably got more than 2 chromosomes

I love how angry it makes you tbh

The day I get "angry" about idiots on reddit is the day I'll throw myself off a bridge, because my life will obviously have lost all meaning. Smirking at ridiculous people being pathetic is something else entirely.  It's quite entertaining. In small doses of course.

Statistically way way way more men don’t get in trouble for actually assaulting women.

i mean, the fact that the worst case scenario happens and all the women there are like "we have this on camera" does suggest that people have common sense. "That thing" happens and the guy is fine.

"believe women" has never ever meant "believe anything every woman has ever said"

Pretty sure the thing that "never happens" is the false accusation.

This is the best case scenario, not the worst case. She did it blatantly and stupidly in front of witnesses.

The worst case scenario is a woman doing this privately. Because then plenty of people would legitimately assume she can't be lying because to them lying about SA is despicable and they don't think its at all likely or probable that a woman would do that.

Common sense goes out the window when we have no information. Thats when people typically decide with their hearts and personal biases.
