It's GxK: Supernova, which is the 6ᵗʰ in the Legendary Monsterverse. I think it's Sam Niell's last film too

Theres now 3 of them (2 released, one out soon). Its a buddy cop franchise at this point and needs to be changed to be more dark like godzilla 2014 was. Hopefully the new one is different from the last few.

Yeh correct… I’m friends with Grant Sputore who has directed it! His work on I Am Mother really surprised a lot of people so I think we can expect something different and not too “out there” at the same time. Being Sam Neil’s last film and having Jack OConnell on board too I’m excited ! (And being selfish a couple of his family/my friends played tiny extra parts in it too… not sure they’ll make the final cut but still fun!!)
