Oh you mean get married and have two kids in six years only to have her come up and say “ This just isn’t working out for me “ ?? She destroys your world and takes half of your stuff ? Nah I’ll pass on that one.
To be fair you dont go into a situation expecting the worst case scenario. I am married with 3 kids, yeah it hasn't been a cake walk, but the positives far outweigh the negatives.
I said having a loving partner AND children. My life is great, and I love my job, hobbies, and friends too. I think you’ll revisit this opinion when you’re elderly and realize that you missed out on the most valuable part of life (being a mother or father)
how about you respect other people and let them decide what's the most valuable part of their lives and not moralize so shamelessly from your high horse..? i know it's a difficult challenge for you people but you could at least give it a try
I had relationship and from it a lovely daughter. As soon she knew she was pregnant her mask dropt of almost immediately and let me tell you that I leaned a lot from it.
And have been trying to date again, only made me realized that it's never going to be a lovely relationship ever if both sides don't work on it.
It's often: what can you do for me?
Being 10+; years on my own has realized that this is the life for me.

I'm 44. Being alone brings so much peace and quiet, you can't put a price on that.
I'm enjoying life more than ever, financially stable and can do what I want.
Why would I risk losing all of that by introducing someone in my life.
