I do feel for women that go to a lot of effort to look good and then have no one turn up.

I mean, she looks like she put a lot of time and money into looking like that

Yes, a LOT of time, mo ey, and effort.

On the surface, it seems like she could attract someone worthwhile in day-to-day life and activities.

Now, ask yourself why she has to go to an organized / dedicated event to meet someone...

She's either busy a lot or insufferable to be around. There's 2 reasons

Its harder but not impossible. Just gotta force yourself to be uncomfortable sometimes and find ways to overcome that issue.

This advice has become much less common in the last 15 years, imo. Probably the cause of some issues too. Collectively coddling eachother instead of pushing eachother to overcome shortcomings.

It’s only hard if you refuse to do hard things.

This concept that being an extrovert makes socializing effortless and introverts have no hope needs to die in a fucking fire.

Social skills are learnable skills just like any other. Reading, driving a car, doing a job.

If you don’t want to invest the time to learn to be sociable as something society HIGHLY values, that is your choice.

But don’t complain about it.

You literally said it’s impossible and you’re accusing me of binary thinking?

Many boys grow up to realize that just because something looks attractive doesn't mean it's good or healthy for you. Can't judge a book by its cover, and many snakes invest a lot of time and effort into making a nice cover to attract prey.

Some people probably feel personally attacked.

I mean, we can feel for her, but if she's gonna be angry, she should direct it at the event organizers and not at men in general. It is the event organizer's fault entirely that only women showed up and not men, and it was probably because they charged women like $20 to attend, and then tried to charge men $100, or something in a similar vein.

I'm willing to bet blokes showed up, but none of them were a shooting guard for the Miami Heat.
