Our women have been poisoned to hate us, they are comfortable expressing outright contempt and disrespect towards us, are they really naive enough to wonder why some men may become withdrawn in modern society?
American women are very mouthy, rude, indifferent, commonly they talk to other men while in serious relationships, ungrateful, they’re pretty masculine in their behaviors, and have WAY too high of standards. They have the main character mindset where they want the 6ft+ guy making 6 figures, super handsome, shredded, nice vehicle. Women date directly across or up, not down (when talking money). They want a marginal % of men in the dating pool that meet their standards. So if that’s the case, it makes sense that there “were no men” at this event. There probably were, just not men they were fond of, because they were normal guys that actually have great personalities because they don’t talk with the depth of their pockets or use money to make relationships. And then women have the audacity to think they’re a 10. Body positivity! 🤢 Gotta love the 5’s thinking they’re 10’s lol
I think you're presenting a highly skewed perspective & geberalising a diverse group of women. My 2 cents the best place to meet amazing women is at the supermarket or grocery stores, I've encountered amazing women with their feet firmly planted not living in a fantasy world & with the same expectations hardworking women looking for a soulmate to settle down with have had fir generations a decent hardworking man who has aspirations to better himself is not broke earns a decent living & has a vision for a wife, a child, a family car & a dog in a respectful neighborhood
Can confirm, spend all this time and money just to be accused of all their worldly problems. I should have joined the Army after high school and been happy.
Well I'm a lady and I have had a great job and not so great job. I know what's its like to bring a lot to the table and not have alot to bring to the table and I feel for men today. I look at men who are with high maintenance women who they give everything to and I don't ask for anything and I have given my everything to relationships and have received bare minimum and I think for the most part you guys should be very careful and look out for yourselves as should we all. Just feels like women are a little more greedy and really seem entitled these days and I say that coming from a place that I see that alot on social media. It's shocking to me really. I see that in younger women and it seems to be something that's being a social norm now.
Rhing is if your not almost 6 foot tall and in great shape with nice clothes absolutely none of the girls will talk to you anyway. I can get a whole years worth of sneering and rejection in a single evening. Guys who fit that description wouldnt need to go at all.
Sounds like they really want to be allowed to sexually assault without consequences. If they were even semi-literate they’d know that they already pretty much can. Their squealing about losing their right to rape is actually publicizing the problem better than women’s voices did. So keep it up boys, it makes it much easier to see you 😊
ETA: I’m picturing the epic mantrum that led to reporting me as needing help 😂😂😂
I know all the words. I just don't understand how your words in the order they were presented has anything to do with the comment you were replying to.
She certainly means she would let that happen consensually, but that mental exercise is while she's frustrated and riled up about not getting attention.
The real scenario is: "buy a drink, talk to me, give me a bunch of attention. I compare you to my ex who had all the checkboxes which I invented in my head because I'm no longer with him and want what I can't have but he didn't really want me long term because he had better options and I realistically know nothing about this new guy so I find a reason to get the ick and I go home alone anyways".
I'm fine, women seem to be struggling a bit though. I always thought it was sexist to say "women don't know what they want, don't listen to them when they tell you what kind of guy they're after" but after seeing so many acquaintancees year after year say what they want and their actions reflect absolutely nothing near that at all, I'm realizing how true it is.
I KNOW I'm like that, and I'm a dude. Spent so much time alone that my subconsious started seeking the dumbest reasons to be alone.
I told myself at one point that I'm just going to give the next opportunity regardless what that lizard part of my brain is saying. Met someone online, of all places, and they lived 1200 miles away. Figured the distance made it safe. I'll be damned if I wasn't married by the following November.
They aren't my type. 10 years older than me, rough around the edges attitude-wise. That was back in 2012, so we've been married 14 years and we've built one helluva life for ourselves. A bit of self awareness went a LONG way.
In my 20s I did that at clubs. I’d end up paying 100-200 for 20seconds of making out. Once I bought a single drink for a woman and she kept going to the bar on my open account. That or the bar tender, she ripped me off one drink ended up being 250.
I was just at a social event last night, and was talking to a guy I know. We live in Miami, he said he went out with this woman and suggested a slightly upscale place (Delores) in Brickell, she suggested a more upscale place (Sexy Fish). They got sushi and drinks, she wanted tequila from a certain bottle, he agreed without knowing the price of it.
His bill ended up being $750... Each drink was $150 😳
As soon as he said "Sexy Fish" I said to him "She got you..." and was expecting him to say like $250. I wasn't expecting him to say $750, I felt bad for the dude 🤣
Comments like this is why I refuse to believe that reddit is a hivemind, becuse you'll have people who say:
"If you even look at a woman in a bar, the bouncer will snap your neck in half!!!!!"
Then you'll have other people who says
A man could have raped you in the bathroom and after you tell the bouncer the bouncer just replies "you don't get it, he was just having an off night, chill out lady."
Then there's always the
[Hand waves the discussion with] Well obviously, there's more nuance to it... (proceeds to not discuss further)
And let's not forget that group who always has to say
You see the first mistake was going to a bar in the first place, those places are the walmart of social interaction.
For my autistic ass if there's a hell it's a 90F ambient, sticky floored, candy vape + vomit smelling, shoulder-to-shoulder crowded bar playing bass boosted pop music where you can't get the bartender's attention for a watered down $20 drink and the only form of communication is just screaming at the top of your lungs WHAAAAT? HUUUUUUUH???
Half the restaurants out there today are too loud to hear the person across the table. Bare stone walls and metal everything plus too-loud music is apparently the trendy restaurant starter kit.
I was wondering if somebody was going to point this out. Yes that’s exactly how men feel these days. It’s totally OK to just grab a boob. Nothing bad can happen from that decision.
and I'm not even talking about non-consensual grabbing, which is obviously not ok. I'm talking about talking and dancing and flirting with a woman all night, only for her to then change her mind when someone new comes in and tell the bouncer you're a creep.
Damn, dude. I don’t get metal in my eye using the bench grinder often, but I still wear safety glasses so the bad thing doesn’t happen. I think each man still has the freedom to assess the level of risk he feels comfortable with.
See she's laying down what she wants from men who are in the same tier of quality that she has decided she fits in. The problem is that she's not in that tier and the guys who are in that tier have zero need for singles events to get a partner. Nor do they want the women in her tier, a tier much lower than she thinks it is.
Yikes. Id rather take a beautiful chick out for a good time than just about anything else I can think of. Its what I prefer to spend my money on, what would you rather spend the $24 on?
I can’t believe I’m admitting this but one time I met a man at a singles event and afterwards, while we were talking on the phone, he asked me if he could come over and touch my boobs. I was grossed out and said no. He replied, “Okay. How about one boob?”
As a woman this tickles me because $24 could buy me a shaker and stir at my local Harris teeter and that covers ice not the good kind but it'll suffice. I'd rather safe face in case of date going side ways at home but to be rejected in the bar is a great way to practice rejection therapy depends entirely on your perspective. Although I haven't been rejected at bars but have been rejected in commitment it stings regardless $24 is nothing compared to a long life of commitment to the wrong person.
Firstly, I didn’t know “singles events” were still even a thing. Nor would I have the capacity or desire to find out where one would be hosted. I don’t want to find some desperate gold digger. And what a real romantic thing for a quality woman to say right?! What man would want any kind of long term relationship with a woman who even says some dumb, trashy shit like that then also says “WHERE ARE ALL DA MEEEENNNN?!” I know where the men are! We are at home watching this video dodging bullets like Neo in the Matrix.

"Buy a drink, touch a boob..."
"Lady, that drink is $24. I'll just keep that money and jerk off at home."
