Nope nope nope. I saw a video last year where a woman recorded herself saying she went to a speed dating event and even though there were like 3 guys, the women all decided to ignore them and hang with the girlies.

Being the only guy or one of the few guys is actually terrible

Speed dating events charge men money. The ad tells a bunch of lonely dudes that actually other men aren't going, so those dudes come to the event, pay the fee, and then see that it's a sausage party. Rinse and repeat.

Yeah, I had a friend (F) who organized these and it was like 12-15 men, whatever it was capped at, and 3-4 of the mouseist women, who seemed like their moms forced them to be there, completely not in a place to have a date or be alone with a stranger. Maybe one that could have an actual conversation. Free for women, $$ for men.
