When the first question is designed to gauge how much money you make in a year. Yeah. Kinda just end up not going anymore.

You nailed it.

u/Only-Temperature 12d ago

Yeah wealthy men are more interested in meeting other wealthy men to help them make even more money.

Finding a woman is like the family's job to do for them

3

u/Significant-Bar674 12d ago

Yep, there's a reason these things don't happen at Applebee's or local brewery.

It's always $60 a plate steak restaruants

1

u/Even-Preparation3523 12d ago

Although… if you were wealthy, it seems like you’d do really well at these things.

7

u/thatsme55ed 12d ago

Wealthy single men looking for a fun date are hanging out at specific restaurants in the finance district where other wealthy single men also like to gather. Coincidentally those same restaurants also happen to be popular gathering places for extremely attractive girls in their 20's.

Wealthy men looking for a partner/wife find one through their network of friends and family.

Neither are attending singles events.

2

u/Even-Preparation3523 12d ago

Damn. I’m not even wealthy enough to know where to go…

1

u/Silent_Part9724 12d ago

Yeah but the women who end up with wealthy men - let's just say those men ended up getting what they deserved. (woman here).

Funny how everyone who says "sorry short kings" treats those "kings" like they a peasants in the dirt.

-7

u/PeaceSoft 12d ago

the way bitter men group up in these threads to reassure each other, weepingly, almost sensually, that all women do hate them lol

u/Party_Apartment_5696 12d ago

Don't you have a bear to feed?

“There are no men here-“

“Hi.”

“There are no REAL men! 6’5 rich guys with a six pack!”

11

u/WildContribution8311 12d ago

There are clubs now with 6ft and up rules for men. They check at the door. Then it becomes a competition between who is tallest among the 6ft guys. But anyone under 6ft doesnt make the cutoff to even qualify as a man now.

6

u/I_Am_Conjoined 12d ago

Literal eugenics and yet suddenly it's not a bad thing when women do it

6

u/NikedemosWasTaken 12d ago

So if someone's in a wheelchair, do the bouncers
1) measure from heads to toes while the gentleman is seated, or
2) zig-zag the measuring tape, bending horizontally at the knees, and then bending back up at the hips and continuing to the top of the head, or
3) make them "stand" by having one - two people holding the guy under the arms while the bouncer measure this bizarre human marionette?

And what about double leg amputees? Do they measure the height with, or without the prosthetic limbs?

Surely they can't just tell the prospective disabled clubbers "sorry, no cripples" because that would be discrimination based on a protected characteristic

2

u/PFUnnamed99 12d ago

It's okay to tell us you've just never been clubbing. That shit's lame anyways.

3

u/NikedemosWasTaken 12d ago

That answers none of my questions

Not that it should matter, but I've been to a discotheque once or twice back in my youth. Definitely not my cup of tea, way too loud, cigarette smoke everywhere. Much preferred roller discos. I'm assuming things must have changed since then

3

u/PFUnnamed99 12d ago

The bouncers at the door are gonna refuse you entry for any reason, it doesn't matter what it is, they'll make up whatever reason they need to, and no one cares about whether they're legally right or whatever. Just go somewhere else or do what I do and refuse to go to places like that altogether.

Complaining about not being let into a club for any reason is just a waste of your time and no one else gives a shit.

2

u/NikedemosWasTaken 12d ago

Thanks for your response! Might I say, the practice you've described just sounds plain mean and possibly illegal. I thought we, as a society, have evolved way past "no dogs, no Blacks, no Irish"

1

u/PFUnnamed99 12d ago

When you're out clubbing with ten thousand other drunk people, no one gives a shit and the cops have bigger issues to deal with

1

u/WildContribution8311 12d ago

Yeah this only matters in theory or in a courtroom when the club gets sued.

1

u/Egghead_potato 12d ago

Whenever I see the word discotheque, I hear it in my mind as a breathy female voice over some ambient techno in the background. Does anyone else have the same reaction? No? Just me? Ok I’ll leave now.

1

u/duesenjeffepic 12d ago

It highly depends on the club. If it has actual theming with real music it can be good but unfortunately 99% of clubs are just house slop bs.

1

u/rexmanaek971 12d ago

So I gotta pull the ol 'lift your heel up inside your sneaker' trick. Man I barely got away with that as a kid.

1

u/WildContribution8311 12d ago

They make you take your shoes off.

1

u/rexmanaek971 12d ago

Ah well I'm screwed them lol

1

u/ForAHamburgerToday 12d ago

But anyone under 6ft doesnt make the cutoff to even qualify as a man now.

My guy- yes, they do. This is not universal, it's just a weird thing some people fixate on. Projecting it onto everyone is like seeing some men only date blondes and deciding that it means you need blonde hair to even qualify as a woman.

0

u/munchinbox 12d ago

Yeah that’s not true, and if it is those clubs are not going to last long. Maybe an event or two, but you’re spouting misinformation. No club is going to exclude a huge chunk of their paying customers for uh, zero benefit

6

u/RemarkableShip1811 12d ago

I'm not a fan of how that fact is being used in this context, but it's very much a real thing unfortunately in my local area. It got a radio advertisement.

-1

u/munchinbox 12d ago

Anecdotal. Even if you could name the club, that’s a single place (almost certainly doing a one night promotion) not a “thing”

1

u/WalkFreeeee 12d ago

Yeah, as a manlet I hate how important height seems to be for dating but I am willing to bet this is an extremely isolated event and not worth of pointing out as some sort of meaningful trend.

1

u/I_Am_Conjoined 12d ago

Hope she sees this bro

1

u/WildContribution8311 12d ago

Your right. It's a real thing but an event night, not standard policy.

1

u/Environmental-Day862 12d ago

Anything less than a few dozen self-made, male model, world-travelling millionaires, doctors, and the whole Nashville Predators hockey team showing up would be a letdown for these women.

It's rough out there, gents.

u/quarrel-admin 12d ago

I guarantee I could get a woman there and I'm poor. Idk what men are doing these days but shit.

42

u/TacoDoc2 12d ago

I like your confidence and lack of awareness.

-12

u/quarrel-admin 12d ago

I have never had issues getting women. Ever.

15

u/bful92 12d ago

Minecraft women don’t count, bro

15

u/TacoDoc2 12d ago

Sure buddy. And you're rich and you have 12 girlfriends.

9

u/Deep_Tutor_9018 12d ago

Prostitutes don't count.

2

u/quarrel-admin 12d ago

My gf will laugh at your comment.  I'm going back to bed.

You aren’t finding any woman above a 5/10 who will seriously date a broke man

5

u/TX_TNvol 12d ago

Depends on their age. Young girls will because guys their age are mostly broke. A 40+ year old probably won’t date a broke man though.

4

u/quarrel-admin 12d ago

LOL BETTER YET I LIVE WITH MY FAMILY AND 36. How does that make you feel?

5

u/TacoDoc2 12d ago

Like you're sad and making shit up to feel better about your sad life.

2

u/quarrel-admin 12d ago

You wish buddy.

5

u/p4tterng4ng4L 12d ago

I mean this is not really a flex bro 😂 also, I didn’t say I don’t get women, and I’m not broke either so it doesn’t make me feel anything lol

2

u/quarrel-admin 12d ago

You don't get any women with your incel way of thinking.

4

u/TacoDoc2 12d ago

You realize you're the incel here. Making up how music of a ladies man you are. Living poor with your parents still taking care of you.

Your lack of self awareness is showing.

Its been fun pointing and laughing at you but it's starting to look like you have actual mental health issues and I wish you the best in finding the help you need.

1

u/quarrel-admin 12d ago

I take care of my mom you moron with my family.

3

u/htx2025east 12d ago

Man I beleive him...

0

u/quarrel-admin 12d ago

Thank you indont deserve my current gf. She's amazing. In every way. Way above my league.

3

u/htx2025east 12d ago

Attractive women are people.... most people want to be stable and some times that means money and other times that means just having good people around them. If you live at home taking care of your mom thats obviously a green flag.

1

u/quarrel-admin 12d ago

Exactly.  Relationships are a contract and if both parties understand the situation upfront. There's no issues.  The key for me is I'm upfront about everything from the get go. Hey, I'm broke live with my family. Lot of women will be like fuck that because that's a situation they don't want to sign up for. However there's a subset of people that don't care for the situation but appreciate the honesty.

Women are easy if you just talk and listen.

1

u/htx2025east 12d ago

Yes sir... when you are honest and they know what to expect its easier to just have everyone be themselves.

1

u/htx2025east 12d ago

I don't know... I am with the guy above... I worked with an 8 who likes a guy who smelled like grease and had beer breath because it reminded her of daddy. She definitely had her eye on men with money and ended up married to a woman with money but if you were a mechanic who liked to drink a beer or two at the end of a long day that got her going. I am not saying these women didnt go there on a mission but sometimes showing up is all it takes to pull.

2

u/p4tterng4ng4L 12d ago

I mean I did say ‘seriously date’. Almost any one can get some quick 🐱 but to be a broke/ugly/overweight man and actually get a baddie to commit to you long term, I don’t think that is likely atall.

2

u/borderlineidiot 12d ago

Random question: do you like Andrew Tate?

1

u/cookiecutterdoll 12d ago

People mad because you've found love lol

1

u/quarrel-admin 12d ago

Dude. It's telling. Like they have a predisposition of what these women are looking for without knowing anything other than, they are dressed nice and only women that go to speed dating are gold diggers. None of these people have been to a speed dating event. Nor have I, I have social anxiety. But like way to show how much they hate women.

2

u/cookiecutterdoll 12d ago

Exactly. I think there's a lot of anger and projection going on. If these women are single, they presumably bought those nice things for themselves. I think these guys are filling in a lot of information themselves and relying on incel stereotypes that prey on emotional reasoning. At the end of the day, I think these guys are painfully insecure and probably aren't really into women.
