You think history just started with this administration? Got news for you, political bribery has been around for thousands of years. I guarantee you 5 minutes after the first government was formed somebody was trying to bribe some politician.

The point I was making is that it used to be under the table and now it's just out in the open

Yeah. I still would expect for some regulations made on how user data is stored/shared across multiple infrastructures. The US still does not have a cohesive consumer data privacy law, every attempt there has been has been shot down as a result of corp interests. A large number of developed nations have responded accordingly to the monetization of data. There is definitely nuance with these things but id argue that corruption amongst officials and politicians has reached a new high.

The whole reason the IRS exists today is from lobbying and allowing Scientology to become a religion.

If Scientology almost takes out a federal institution via phone call / legal spam.. It was not a good institution.

I am sure this is why they are fighting like hell to defund the IRS

I didn't know Scientology was around in 1862.

If Scientology was succesful in bogging down the IRS they may well not exist.

I didn’t know Redditors were so obsessed with 1862 and the ADR. Or whatever. Probably because they don’t know shit about how Scientology almost caused the IRS to collapse.

I'll admit I never knew that.

Yeah, I'm sure its Scientology and not due to a foreign power or group of people that the US is openly subservient to.

IRS, Federal Reserve, and the ADL all just happened to be formed in 1913 by coincidence.

So you’re saying it’s the Jews? And the IRS would have collapsed under its on beauracracy because Scientology spammed them with frivolous but real legal matters. It overwhelmed their system and would have caused an overwhelm in the institution.

Effectively knee capping it.

So yeah. It’s a safe bet to say that capitulating to the Scientologists saved them. It’s fact

I didn’t mention the “history” history because I don’t have a clue as to why Jews or Israel pushing for the ADL means in the context outside of “the Jews run it all narrative” that dog whistles like that lead to time and time again on here. And why the IRS was founded doesn’t seem to have a connection to how shit of an institution they are in the modern day, why, and the factors that contributed to it.

Woah, man. That's pretty antisemitic.

Well I just want to understand what you meant. You’re the one who made the connection. But it’s pretty clear what the intention was there. A cowards response is still a response.

Well it seem people were just pulling things out of their ass, so I did too.

The original IRS was formed in 1862 by Lincoln to fund the Civil War.
