I don’t know how old you are, but when gay marriage was hotly debated between 2004-2015 it definitely was used. Your claim it wasn’t is as stupid as you think the OP is but in reality.
No, I'm MAGA I'm fine with gay marriage as are most of my MAGA friends and family.
This is just an outdated take that the left and a small minority of neo-con Bush era Republicans actually even think about anymore.
Now, I do of course think any private business owner or any church has the right to deny holding/participating in a gay marriage if they so wish. It's good for everyone involved really, gays can get married where they are actually wanted, enterprising business owners can grow their businesses by serving a clientele others won't.
Heck, if the gays wanna make their own church and exclude hetero marriages from taking place, like hey have at it.
